All of you who hate playing against people such as ekko, lestronk, and kat

Let me tell you of some awesome champions. Mordekaiser Kennen Mordekaiser destroys Katarina, any squishy about, and the constant shielding is insane. Since his mini rework, you can't pull an old ryze, building hugely tanky and still destroying. You build straight AP(rylais+liandrys still a great combo) with ludens and wota, you're set. Have fun destroying and not dying anyway :D

Kennen has a massive long range poke, basically free(energy) with great damage, and that ult of his is just crazy. E in, ult and zhonyas, bam teamwide stun and you just unloaded massive burst damage(if you used your a as you should). Kennen destroys ekko, goes pretty well against lestronk(if you stay out of range until you can all in), and he has a great escape tool, makes him hard to gank and easy to push, and he is just an amazing teamfighter in general.

Fight cancer with cancer :D

if u land a kennen ult on leblanc, its a bad leblanc.

Not if you are doing things correctly. You land a q, a empowered auto and w to stun, then ult. Bam easy as pie

Malzahar it'd be a shame if a mobile champion was forced to stand still for 2.5 seconds

In a pool of death too, no less.

OR, you can pick the absolute destroyer of AP champs Veigar

Take barrier to survive the all in, rush a chalice/grail for MR, farm as much AP as possible with Q (my average is 120 by 20 minutes) and if the enemy Ekko, Kat or LB feeds off of your allies, you can just walk up, press R and delete them instantly (Ekko can be problematic with his Ult). Overall, if they're picking champs that build glass cannony AP, then pick the champ that LOVES people building glass cannon AP.

Bro. I play a lot of Veigar actually. You evidently haven't seen my "stop whining about Veigar" threads. I know he works, but I actually don't build chalice, I get seraphs, as I find more AP earlier with a shield to be more beneficial. You have me beat though, I only average about 110 by 20 minutes :P

CrazedPorcupine1 votes

Getting chalice/grail means that you never drop below 50% mana because of your absurd mana regen. Yeah, Seraph's gives more AP and a shield, but the massive mana regen from Grail/chalice does allow easy Q farming because you can prune melee minions with a rank 1 W and then last hit with Q. In fact, up until level 13 or about 300 AP, rank 1 W is enough to prune every minion (except siege/cannon minions) down to a low enough HP to finish them off with Q guaranteeing you 2 AP per Q. This makes it SUPER easy to farm up Q super fast. My average in a 40 minute game is about 250 AP or more. Occaisionally I'll get over 300 by 40 minutes but it's hard.

Im sorry, but im just a little bit irritated because I know how to play Veigar already and it seems like you are trying to teach Me when I already know everything you said.

Sorry about that, but I never have found mana problems with seraphs, because of the increased mana pool, which benefits the passive. Also I don't really feel the cdr is necessary, but it makes sense. I think it might be a personal preference there. Only recently have I extensively focused on farming(got 434 cs in a 41 minute game as Trynd), so thanks for giving me a goal to reach

CrazedPorcupine1 votes

oh no, I was just explaining my decision in item choices. I never inteded to say you were playing him Wrong, In fact, I do like the idea of tear, since it does increase your mana pool and give more AP, and is definitely an alternative choice to grail. Like I said, Grail gives lots of mana regen that combined with your passive means you never run out of mana (you actually get like close to 60 mana regen per second at 0 mana if you manage to get that low), but Seraph's close to 120 AP and shield is also incredibly valuable and defenitely worth considering.

Good job on that CS number though, that's pretty good!

Oh I gotcha. Sorry for snapping. Thanks for making that clear. What do you average with cs on Veigar? I average about 200 according to lolking

CrazedPorcupine1 votes

I average about 215 per 30 minute game, with an average KDA of around 3.2

LB kinda crushes Veigar in lane. She can all in burst you and then back out of your range before the stun walls even show up. She has to be an idiot to get hit by anything but your R, which early in the game is not going to be enough to kill her and has a way longer cooldown than hers.

Your pretty much hedging your bets on the game going long enough to one shot her with R, and LB excels at closing games early.

There's a reason I take Barrier over any other summoner spell. Also, because Q's range was amped up, I can Q farm without much issue or threat of harass. If she tries to zone, I can poke/farm with Q, and if she doesnt' then I just stay out of her way and focus on Farming Q so that when she DOES start getting huge, I can one shot her anytime she tries to go in.

AhhShucks1 votes

Except if she is trying to zone, her engage range is longer than your max Q range. If you try and hit her with it you have a low chance of hitting in the first place, and your close enough for her to attack you. If you try and farm, she is going to attack you. If she attacks you there is nothing you can do except barrier, run, and pray because she will be in and out before anything you do has time to connect.

Barrier may keep you alive, but you'll still need to leave the lane and heal over and over again. Veigar has literally no outplay options against Leblanc other than praying she does something REALLY stupid. Your going to spend the first 20 minutes of the game underleveled and underfarmed. That matchup is 100% the Veigar player banking on the game going long enough to just 1 shot her with R.

I really enjoy Veigar, I play him quite a bit. My biggest gripe with him though is that he is pretty much completely reliant on other people's mistakes. He has no actual outplay potential, his whole kit is built around punishing people for failing to outplay Veigar. All the opportunities for "outplay" are given to his opponent, and if they fail they get wtf deleted. So champions with a high amount of outplay potential built into their kits, such as Leblanc, trash him really hard.

I've never had too much issue with LB in laning phase tbh.

Ah. Thank you!

Is this really a thing that only me and my friends know? Not many people have known what it is :P

Malzahar has had a win rate in the top ten for seasons now.. off the top of my head he's the only mage that's had such a high win-rate for so long. I don't play him myself but I think he's strong
