Better yet, they decide to recall to "stay safe" -_-

And that decision is correct a good amount of the time.

really depends on minion waves If waves are close enough to captailize by all means. But it takes roughly 10-30 seconds for minions to cross half a field just walking without being interuppted. So its a lot of tiome wasted when you could get the 300g baron gold and push later or force another fight. Honestly every game is different but only idiots make game losing decisions./ Who cares as long as their nexus explodes. All that matters.

I actually prefer to go for Baron after an ace for a very simple reason. If you decide to push instead, someone on your team is going to overstay and get themselves killed, and now the enemy team rushes Baron.

Say you can only get a 2nd tier turret or you have no minions to get inhib turret + inhib. Then you rush baron, it is a hugely important objective that can totally turn around games, or secure wins. Where pushing gets you 1 turret and maybe the enemy countering by taking a turret or baron, baron can get huge pressure across the map.

It depends on how long the death timers are, if minions are pushing to towers, and whether the enemy team has poke to keep you from sieging. If they don't have an anti-siege comp and you can take Baron before they respawn, do it. The buffed minions will make it easy to take the inhib and you have kept the other team's Baron threat gone for 8 minutes.

If they have great waveclear like a Ziggs, then you will probably want to push the inhib while he is dead instead of going Baron.

Baron is better because it's 1,500 global gold and tons of experience. The turret money will still be there to collect after baron :P and turrets don't give experience.

Furthermore, if your team is weak when deciding "baron or inhib," and you go for inhib, then you'll have to recall to heal after taking it, and the enemy team will DEFINITELY snipe baron in counteraction (it takes supers like 2 minutes to crawl down lane and create any kind of threat at home :P)

Nice gif :)

It's always better to get baron than one inhibitor. So let's say you get the inhi, then they respawn and take baron.

You have 50g x5 and 50g x1 - they get 300g x5 and a buff. Who's winning?

Unless you can take all 3 inhi in 1 go or the nexus, baron is better.

I've played so many games though where the team as pushed and then ok we get say two towers and an inhib so we all back to base to buy and heal because we're all at half healthish. Then when we're at base the newly re spawned enemy team rushes to Baron and wins the game off of the buff because death timers are only 30-ish seconds.

So honestly I think it depends on the death timers and how quickly you take things.

I once won a game like that. They had a fantastic pick comp, we had a very good teamfight comp. They picked 3 of our guys off very quickly and rushed baron, we waited, stalled, huddled under inhib turrets, and the second that baron buff disappeared, with our team all rezzed up and ready for a fight, womboed a Hec into Ori into Cho for a an easy win.

If they had taken the inhib turrets instead of Baron they would have probably won, leaving us with nowhere to hide while our team rezzed up.

Always push Objectives over Baron... You take an inhib forces the enemy team to stay and defend that lane or even split push hence an easy baron chance anyway right after...

This is me in every XCOM run ever.

While taking an inhib is the right call most of the time, it actually depends on the situation and team comps. If the enemy team has a better teamfight comp, they can kill your team at Baron after the inhib take and basically negate the advantage you had. Plus, taking Baron first will help poor siege comps immensely. You can keep them in their base while you siege and deny them tons of resources.
