So how exactly do I carry ranked?

So I start duo with a morg and I go xin jungle. Top picks ryze and bot picks lulu and trist. Fine seems easy enough lategame op right?

So we start out the first 5m fine. Trade some kills. I see my mid has an easy kill so I go for it and I get an assist. Yay. Bot's having trouble so I go there and we start engaging. Enemy jungle comes out and at the end of it we've traded their jg for our adc. Not completely worth but not the worst. We're doing fine. The next 5m is where shit goes down.

Our top seems to love trying to 1v1 kayle early even though he's late. Whatever, I assume he'll stop feeding after 2 easy kills for kayle. Nope goes for 2 more. Then our mid gets ganked once and dies and our bot lane dies. Twice. Meanwhile I'm here going wtf? Just farming nicely, tops a lost cause and the lanes are doing fine then within the span of 30s the enemy has 5 more kills.

Whatever fine I'll keep farming sated cause its op on xin. Can't gank anywhere now because they're all fed 2 kills and will slaughter me as soon as I engage.

Then after ryze complains that he can't do anything early (no shit?), we all start feeding (big surprise) and lose the game.

So my question is, how the hell was I supposed to carry this? I know I could've done better but I ganked when I could, didn't for safety and tried to farm sated. Kinda hard when bot lane feeds a double kill twice and top goes 0/5. (I ended 2/8 but I had no choice lol).

Also, ryze said he was gold tier jungle (lol) and said that he mained xin (figures right?) and said that I should've gone warrior on xin. Is that true or was I right for getting sated?

P.S this is why I don't do ranked. People seem to take normals more serious and I consider THOSE more of a test of skill than ranked tbh.
