Fiora's Role?

Ok so after roughly about 50 games as fiora , Some bots, Some normal. I have reached a conclusion that I am generally disappointed with fiora.

Now before you going on a rage fest, I think fiora's kit is fun. No lie, the idea behind it was amazing, offers a lot of outplay ability.... But with that being said, its a team game, not streetfighter. Even if you do outplay with fiora, what does she bring to a team fight? Why would you pick fiora, over Malph? Tryn? yi? irelia? Kayle? Jax? Gnar? Nasus? even a Nunu?

In all honestly I am not the best fiora, but I found that even with close fights, I outplay my opponent and still die. After that its usually smart to go tankish if your behind right? If I go tankish, my damage output is a bit.. mediocre. And since she doesn't have any real tank stats, what use is she without going full tank? you still get shredded. And if you don't take defensive masteries from the beginging, expecting to win your lane and snowbasll hard, she becomes.. well In my honest opinion.... A bit of smoke and mirrors..

So my question to everyone is. What is fiora good for? And if you say "her ult has a massive heal" ima smack you with 8pounds of salty fish, cause if you wanted heals, you would get Soraka / Janna, Both are better at it imo since there heal is more reliable to proc. Aside from her True damage Hype. Is her kit really worth picking if your not in solo que? and Even then, Could you carry a game as Fiora??? honest opinions please :)
