Lux is not OP

People are saying Lux is OP. Hear me out, she isnt. She may have amazing wave clear and strong burst and a safe laning phase but guess who else does.

(less so since her charm change) and even has all of these qualities.

Some of them have way more sustain than her and even have a kit that is safer and can clear faster. Why is everyone complaining about her? Because of her high playrate. According to lolking, she is sitting at a 52% win rate and a 20% play rate. If she was really that strong, her winrate would be higher considering that playrate.

Also, considering that the meta favours her as one of the few safe mages that can counter this AD Assassin meta, no wonder her play/win rates are so high. So chill out. The mage update is coming. You'll be able to play your non-lux mages soon.

Literally none of the champs you listed are as safe as Lux. Some of them are significantly less safe.

Some have comparable wave clear, none of them have better wave clear.

Sustain? Why would Lux possibly need sustain?

But the most important thing you fail to understand is that high playrate drags winrate DOWN. When a champ maintains a high winrate despite a MASSIVE playrate, that champion is not balanced.

I'm having issues with getting ultied with lux, when I ulti I am 1 teeny tiny close t enemy while enemy ulti me like size of teemo away from the ulti, still hits me. This is why we hate "Lux", nah shes powerful because her skins is broken, maybe it needs nerf?

20% with 52% exceptionally good 1/5 games shes picked and she wins half of them. i personally think its the fact her e is undodgeable unless you are moving and she doesn't predict it. i know thats a weird thing to point out but with the scaling it does get pretty bad when laneing
