Are early game junglers better for bronze?

Purpl3Jungl3··1 votes·889 views

In my elo, bronze, teammates tend to die a lot. Like First blood is usually drawn before minions even spawn, whereas in diamond and stuff, sometimes its midgame till first blood is drawn.

That's why i fear late game junglers in my elo. by the time its late game my team would have died so much that the enemies would be multiple kills infront. Whereas an early game jungler could ruin the games of the opposing team and snowball. In my elo, people rarely go for dragons and cs so once a team falls behind they rarely comeback

So i'm tied between Buying Lee and Vi. Is Vi's early game good or is it just too low for my elo

Scaling junglers are the best. If you want advice, I'll give you advice on how to get out of bronze.

Pick up Yi or Voli or Udyr. Farm up. Find a lane, any one. Top/Bot may be the best lane. Camp the living shit out of it and just farm that side of your jungle + enemy jungle, gank that one lane and shove lane. Once you get first tower, you team will start running around the map with their tails between their legs because they don't know wtf they should be doing. You take over their lane and you just shove. Kill anyone that comes your way.

That strat will take you straight to silver. Might have to switch it up a bit in Silver working your way towards gold. But I say use that till it no longer works. If you need more advice, I'll give it to you.

Also, if you go Udyr/Voli Zz'rot is your best teammate that will never let you down.

School of Trick2g, I presume? It's not a bad tactic, but I personally prefer playing in teamfights rather than praying to Tryndamere that my team won't end up doing something stupid and get caught wihout me there to hold their hands (I tend to play these tanks with damage for that every purpose).

I learned a lot from Trick, even though I don't play his champs. :p But no, it's not really just Trick that I picked that up from. A lot of high elo players steam roll lane and end up going straight to inhibs from their 1 lane. Eventually just solo killing entire teams in their base due to how fast they get there. Bronze - low silver players have no reserve so it's easy to get fed because they don't really know how to play safe. Because of this, you can easily take advantage of every small misstep they take, because they'll always end up coming inside your kill zone.

If you prefer to teamfight, then play it your way. It's not bad, it's just that you rely more on your team to back you up if you play that style of play. If you play in lower elos, it's safer to think of your team as dead weight rather than people that are able to help you. That's just how I climb out from Bronze and Silver. Gold elo you can start hoping your team is a little bit reliable, but their still bad enough to where you only want to rely on them sometimes. Playing the split push/pressure game actually gives your team more leeway to fuck up rather than grouping and all of you screwing up and losing everything.

I tried udyr before i sucked bad. He's not my type of champ. I like junglers that can jump on you, like nid diana vi lee etc

While those are all good junglers (with the exception of Nid, seeing as she's the primary target for ultra nerfs), they are also pretty mechanically intensive that allows more room for you to actually screw up on. The reason I suggested the other champs is because of their small window of screw up options.

I'd say Vi over Lee would be better. You have to account for too much when you play Lee to be effective. Any small mistake can lead to a big loss and he has a lot more micro and macro play to him than Vi. Vi is pretty easy, albeit the Q being way too easy to side step.

So, while early game champs are good so you help your team snowball harder and have them carry you, you have to rely on them TO carry you since you fall off on those champs. If you're competent enough, however, to end the game before you fall off, then those will be good investment champs. Other than that, it's better just to play champs that scale well into late so you don't have to rely on your team TOO much.

Lee gets banned more frequently and also there is probability of being nerfed. I would pick Vi and would play her as one pony trick for at least next 2 months.

I don't think you should get a champion "for your elo", but rather based on the gameplay you enjoy.

Late game junglers got me to gold and almost plat if i continued to play last season.

Btw lee is getting a huge nerf to his ult in 7.1

Not really, you guys aren't good at closing out games whatsoever, so the early lead wouldn't do much for you guys. Even in Plat I'm spamming Jax jung because I know if things don't go well we can just turtle to late and probably outscale them.

Also, pick champs that don't have too much mechanics required. Skill shots are bad, point and click is good. Jax, WW, Voli, Wukong, Panth (if you are decent at him) can do extremely well in the jungle at that low of an elo. When you fuck up with those champs it's because you made a bad judgement call, not because you missed an ability.

Nope. Honestly you want the latest of late game. Because every bronze game is a 40 minute 70 kill clown fiesta!

forget lee sin, he's a waste in low ELO, he is mechanically demanding for the user and the team, there is no point in burdening yourself with such mechanics.

if i was you i would look at things like Ammumu, Hecarim. jungles than cam pick off people but above all have great team fighting ability, with ammumu for example don't use bandage to engage, flash and ult, use bandage to lock up a priority target after/chase down or to secure the gank in whatever lane.

with these types of jungles you can literally run at teams and terrify them thats what you want, same with any lane, going top? take maplh, just farm, ult the backline and the team fights won, orianna? people down here can't dodge balls or even keep an eye on them.

pick champions that can single handily turn a team fight or outright win it. Ammumu and Hecarim right now are in the to tier of jungles same with VI, although Vi doesn't have a team-fight suedo ult she can continually point and click the adc/mid squishy and instantly make it a 4v5 etc.

My advise is to go for saling junglers with strong early game pressure. Vi is pretty much number 1 at any elo right now, with only maybe Hecarim and Shyvana being close to her.

Amumu on the other hand, while he doesn't have that much pressure early, can still gank although that's not where he is stongest. However, his ult makes him the Bronze god, as his tankiness and a massive teamfighting presence can turn most games in your favor.

Are you better than Bronze players (was High Silver/Low Gold last season and fell with the rank reset) and needs a way to solo carry yourself out of the hole? Early Game junglers. Get fed. Get Big. Set your oponents behind. Carry.

Are you a Bronze player who wants to climb? Play late game monsters with decent early games or split push champions. You will either play safe, get big and maybe carry because the enemy will waste their precious CC on the Full Tank Braum. Or you can play someone like Yi, Trynd, and Jax, and split push your team to victory because you can 1v2.

Other than that, try out different champions and see what works for you.

PS: Nice to see you're not making cringy posts anymore and learned how to actually ask for help like a functioning human being instead of looking like a "hot girls in your server" spam :D
