Darius is actually worth a ban

He has a pretty good chance of winning lane against most players, and if he builds tanky his true damage is fucking strong,

I have a high winrate against him. He was spammed so much I know how to counterplay against him every time I see him.

He's actually a kind of dumb champion without ganks.

thats the key though. If someone ganks him he can snowball. I used to be able to kill him with nasus, but one gank can turn alot into his favor and you cant come back because once he stacks sustainable health he outscales most laners.

Nope, Darius is a freelane for me, nearly everytime except if I fuck up hard. Riven vs darius is a skill matchup, but with a tanky build and a gank darius can crush you.

Darius does a LOT of true damage and heals for alot.

I think of all the top laners and as darius I dont think ive lost to any that are designed for top. I had trouble with taliyah but her buff made her broken.

I think with just black cleaver, and tank, darius does around 1025 true damage late game. That combined with his Q is enough to triple--- penta kill maybe ateam.

He loses to attack speed, but there are few of those.

No argument there, but I haven't had enough games with Darius making a significant difference that translated into a win to agree with him being worth a ban.

Darius is pretty strong, many toplaners have terrible, terrible time laning vs him, and if he is ahead he can be a real problem - even if this heavily depends on our team comp.

Don't be ashamed to ban him, if only to avoid tilting yourself. If people call you scrub for this, don't give a damn.

I used to be able to defeat him with Nasus by avoiding his Q's, poking him with a Q, wither, and walk away and he couldnt heal if he couldnt Q me.

Problem is, a gragas forced a gank in my lane (my junlger), and Nasus is way too weak early game to do anything. Their graves popped in and took me out. Catching up to darius is near impossible.

Ive been able to beat him with panth. Believe it or not Darius even counters Jax early game. But at the same time as darius, I think ive also beat every top laner, Its tough to beat this guy. Edit: Which is why I agree with you, darius can win lane pretty easily and just move onto wrecking the rest of the team since he has so many slow cc s and bleed effects, not to mention his ult does insane damage with few damage items.
