How to counterpick top laners with "supports" or adc champs :

Hello everyone, i'm playing a lof of supports on top lane especially Karma because she is awesome, let's me give you some bans/advices about them. I also play some adcs top :

First the supports :

: Karma is great for top lane, her RW will prevent most of your opponents from killing you, especially . You don't need to play her tank, you can go support. Be careful about jungler but the current top lane situation is in your favor.

Since Sona and Soraka have been nerfed, Karma is a good replacement.

What you should ban : because she scales and she will be better in lategame, (same reason as Kayle), (he scales and he is annoying).

Karma top is good against : , they will not be able to kill you alone if you play well.

Then we have top. It's pretty good to harass and get a lot of stacks on melee champs. But you also counter adcs like top because you deal more dmg than her and scale better and you outscale .

What you should ban : (Mordekaiser can be a problem with his ultimate and his E), (too many dashes), (scale and can deal big ranged dmg with his barrels). and can be a problem with their ultimate. Also care for jungler.

Senna top is good against : , you can have stacks easily and you can outscale quinn and Kayle. Quinn shouldn't be able to kill you in early game if you play safe, harass her with your Q and if she ganks, you can ulti.

: Morgana is great vs a team with a lot of CC. Especially when you have a Katarina or a Yi in your team and you know they will have a hard time vs a Bliztcrank supp and a Nautilus mid, then you can pick Morgana and make your teammate useful again with a blackshield.

Morgana counter Jax because he will never be able to stun you with your E and you can cage easily if he dash on you. At lvl 6, your ulti will make him useless and if he dares to approach you, he will take a lot of damage.

Morgana is good if your jungler gank, your 3s cage will help him to get the kill.

What you should ban : (can be problematic), (his W can dogde your Q), (ultimate), (scale), (scale) (cleanse + scale) (can block your spells. ) (can parry your cage)

Morgana top is good against :

: Bard scales with his passive, he deals a big dmg and can help his jungler to gank. He should be safe from most of melee champs.

What you should ban : (can parry the stun) (huge mobility) (huge mobility) (cleanse + scale) (can be dangerous if you can't stun him when he dash on you) (huge mobility + windwall)

Bard is good vs :

is very situationnal compared to the others supp but you can do some things if you counterpick. You also need your bot to be good because you are here to protect the adc.

You should lane vs melee champ with limited mobility. Janna is the best vs because Fiora is squishy, she can't reach Janna and her ulti will be useless vs Janna ultimate.

But you have a lot of bad MU like

Janna will have problems for pushing lane and having utility if her team can't play safe or win lane.

ADCS :

: Caitlyn is good vs melee champs or ranged on top lane as long you can stay away from them and attack when you are safe.

You counter if you play good. Use your E when you see the enemy approaching you and combo him. Poke them to death and be careful about enemy jungler.

Fiora, Quinn and Kayle are the best MU for you. Fiora hates being poked in early, AA her everytime she tries to farm and uses bushes to prevent minions from focusing you.

Fiora only have her Q to approach you and you can react by pressing E.

Quinn is squishy like you and it's a good thing. That means both of your team have a squishy top laner so it's balanced. You can destroy her in lane easily if you are good with Cait.

Kayle will be melee from 1-6, poke her, harass her. Her ulti have a lot of cooldown compared to your, you can kill her.

What you should ban as Caitlyn top: (ultimate) (ultimate) (ultimate) (dashes) (obvious) (GP ruins the fun, so you must ban him on all matchups), (dashes + windwall).

: With MF, no need to take a because her W passive gives her a lot of MS. You can easily back and return on your lane fast.

MF is good vs melee champs with limited mobility. You can harass them and in teamfight you will be useful with your ultimate.

You are good vs and even because your MS will help you to dodge his barrels.

What you should ban: (unless he is on your team), , , (Yasuo is a must ban, his windwall make your ultimate useless).

: Xaya is a safe adc with a good ultimate. Her feathers can be a pain for your opponent.
