I hope the new Kleptomancy comes with an empty potion bottle

If the devs are reworking Klepto to be more focused on free potions and Elixirs, then I really hope you get an empty potion bottle in your inventory to hold them. It's already annoying to have your inventory fill up with junk and needing to keep moving stuff around to have items on the right buttons. An empty bottle that fills with your potions would be a great way to reduce the clutter.

I feel like the clutter is a counterbalance for Kleptomancy. You get free gold just by smacking the opponent, but the tradeoff is that your inventory will be a mess and you'll have to pick out the items you want to use. Plus, once you fill your inventory with actual items, you lose the ability to decide when you use a potion. With an empty bottle item, the impact of this counterbalance would wane significantly.

I don't think a cluttered inventory is the intended drawback of Kleptomancy. The drawback is that your keystone doesn't give you any raw combat value, like Electrocute or Arcane Combat, in favor of free stuff. Having Kleptomancy give you a refillable potion bottle to put the potions you're stealing in is closer to a QoL change than a balance change.

Well, that makes sense too. I've just always felt like the balance of buying items vs. using your Klepto items tactically was some form of strategic decision-making. You're probably right that it wasn't the intended drawback, though.

What would you do about multiple potions and elixirs, just have them stack?

I'd probably want them to stack if they're similar enough (health + mana potions could be drunk together), or have it so that every use is a health + mana potion and you fill it up with Klepto procs. Basically, make it a Refillable Potion that gets refilled by engaging with the enemy instead of going back to base.
