Oooohh, make the theme more into a form of "Advanced Weaponry", a Program Kayn could fulfill a similar niche with the RHAAST Virus attempting to override Kayn's PROJECT into PROGRAM Rhaast.
I always thought Cyber Kayn could be cool, where in Darkin he looks like a Program skin (converted/repurposed to hunt down Project) and as Shadow Assassin he looks like a Project skin. It could fit thematically really, really well.

I thought the same thing about Star Guardian 
.........hell, even Pool Party Tali, yet here we are 3 years later. Though unlike Tali, I get the feeling Aph is going to be pretty popular. So he probably won't be waiting years for a skin.
Imo, Aphelios is the kind of character designed to get a lot of skins. So you will probably not get disappointed
Nah, Rito is gonna make him a Battle Academia skin as well as possibly a Star Guardian skin (fallen) and his sister is the starlight that attempts to purify him.
I can kind of already see him being their next big anime boy.

Alune is his Operator
It'd be cool if sorta like Project Jhin he picked up some not-entirely-clean parts still stained with the personhood of previous users. Maybe Alune is the faded shadow of a reused part. Or his weapons hold some personality in them from past users.
Alune maliciously whispering into his ear to drive him into mute madness would be so cool though!

Phel has a lot of potential skin options. Elementalist, Blood Moon, Project, I could even see a DJ skin in there.
