Why buy Cassiopeia? Solo queue

Wasabo··1 votes·1,627 views

I have over 6.3k ip and some RP, and Cassiopeia had a gameplay update, so I was wondering if she is fun and if I should play her. I was also planning on buying her skin that's on sale.

Should I get her? Pros and cons? Is she good for solo queue?

All of the Shurima champions are currently on free week until the end of the Shurima event, so you don't need to buy her. Just give her a try and then decide if she's worth buying, or if you'd rather wait to purchase Azir instead.

Also, Cassiopeia is still pretty awesome, but her early game laning has been toned down a bit, and it's a bit hard to get stacks without pushing your lane to turret, but she's pretty fun right now. I'd probably build Cassiopeia with Tear>Haunting Guise>Rylai>Liandries>Seraph.

She's good overall and for SoloQ.

She can be easily countered by heavy long-range poke like Xerath, but she outdamages almost every champion in close combat.

She's also extremely amazing in turning that enemy gank in your favour if you manage to play her well. I suggest you buy her, she's one of my favourite champions. The update indeed reduced her early game harass, but she's still amazing.

However she doesn't outdamage anyone before late game though. All what she can do now, is farm and hope you don't lose before that late game.

Meh, save the 6300 and then play her on a free week.

She's not a typical mobile mid assassin so if that's the style you usually play, you aren't going to be used to her.

I played Azir. I really really don't like him...

You shouldn't buy her as she is, there is a 70+ Page discussion on GD that will tell you that. The rework has her in a really bad way.

She is currently undertuned, so it's a better idea to observe for now.
