why do you want to win? (poll)

it is simple enough of a question.

note: it is not how do you want to win it is why do you want to win.

I no longer want to win, my mental state has evolved beyond a need for victory. "Winning" is just a hollow, man-made state and desiring it only brings rage and arrogance. By rejecting such notions I have become more at peace with my self.

Glad i am not the only one who thinks the same way. Impossible to explain that to anyone, which i think it's riot's bad in some way, with every video they tell people, inspire them, to win win and only win. And by every year it becomes more competitive and less fun.

i agree with both of you. winning causes more problems than it should and more often than not the victory doesn't seem worth it.

Because it's against the rules to play without the intention of winning. All other reasons are secondary. Case closed.

can you prove that?

Prove what, that the other reasons are secondary? There's no proving others' opinions about it without a poll, but in terms of importance that reason is number 1 if you want to keep your account.

so you can't prove it is against the rules to play without intent on winning. good to know.

My bad, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, assuming you've actually read the rules.

unless you are seeing something i am not there is no rule about being required to win. if you do end up seeing it pin point it. otherwise this discussion is over and your words hold no weight.

So you follow all the rules because you want to follow them?

What an upstanding citizen!

Primarily because its competitive. How I like to go about winning and what motivates me is trying to find ways to break thing. I want to win on my terms and in LOL that's usually by going Off meta.

I am a Johnny style player end of the day. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom%2Fdaily%2Fmr11b

How about...... To Get Victorious Skins?

Because winning is usually fun. Another reason would be that losing is abysmally anti fun with how this game works.

Definition of "fun" is something mythical nowadays, people want to win because most of them are sure that it's the most important thing for/ in the game to do and it's actually punishable... If you are trying to have fun in game you can earn a report. For example i like to trashtalk, jokes, kidding(nothing offensive, flaming or anything bad) etc in chat with people, that's another way of fun(not only for me), which last year resulted me a chat ban for 20 games, honor level 0 and other little things.

Dunno, who's bad is it, but for people like me its pretty sad, to see people playing like bots... In most of my games people never type, never response, not even emote, just blindly pushing till the end of the game with "gg" in the end.

That's not what League used to be in the past.

i never saw the early days of league. and i do not know if i want to know of it.
