“The game is too snowbally and ends too quickly!”
Meanwhile on the first week of Pro play:
45~95 Mins with much slower pace
Such a difference between Solo Q and Pro Play. I legitimately thought that the games would end between 25~30 Min

The only reason for LC$ games lasting so long actually IS damage and snowballing being way too high.
People are afraid as hell to make just one bad play because it might be the reason they lost.
You missed the mark, OP.
It's because of how much snowball there are, hence why they are playing it extremely cautiously which results in a very long game.
All this shows is that game being too snowbally is probably very much a real problem, and that Riot's plan to artificially shorten the pro games by making it extra snowball has backfired because instead of getting it done all quick in a flash and full of big plazzzzzzz killing floors, pros are taking it slow/turble precisely because how snowbally the game is.
But what do I know?
Imagine a world where first blood means you lose the game straight up. Do you think the pro's are going to try to pull out sick plays and what not? No, they will just sit under turret and wait for the minions to kill eachother until the minions walk into THEIR tower and then cs them.
They do that until one of the players starves to death and accidentally walks his champion 6 units in front of the tower where he will get ganked by the jungler/mid and top laner + the enemy bot... welcome to LCS 2019!
So:
Too much snowball = longer games Not enough snowball = Longer games
There is a balance right in between but Riot but the balance in a ball and kicked it in the center of an erupting volcano so....
To be fair though games last for 45 minutes because everyone turtles, one team fight happens and one team ends the game. Although you do have fringe cases of an early kill/objective going over and the game ends in under half an hour.
Hey maybe Riot will learn from that and correct their game. I'm sick of taking one wrong step at lvl 3-4, getting killed, and then losing lane because of that ONE mistake.
