@Riot Can we bring Brand back to midlane?

Before Mage overhaul and introduction of elemental drakes Brand was mainly played mid and more or less support.

So in what world his rework was supposed to be made in such a way that complemented him as support MORE than mid which was his primary role before that even happened?

Over the years he was slowly transitioning to botlane more and more up to the point where now third party sites don't even show him played midlane anymore. Brand's rework was not supposed to make him go full support, yet this is what's happening now: he is being played primarily on botlane as support/AP carry. Which what I've been seeing here and there from various boards posts, is not being appreciated and is deemed unfun.

I remember how Riot talked about how they were trying to make some changes to complement him being played on mid but in the end what he got is passive damage increase and a very very negligible mana regen on his passive which... didn't accomplish much. I'll be honest it didn't help him on that role.

Since crit is being somewhat reverted, and ADCs are expected to return, he is just going to end up as basically only support which is beyond saddening: there are still players who prefer him as a midlane champion but you just keep ignoring the issue. He is just in the same situation as Morgana: she was meant to be a midlane champion yet she is played primarily as support for many years now.

Would appreciate any Riot comments on the problem. It's sorrowful to see what was before a strong midlaner slowly degrade into a full support because of the meta and basically weak, poor attention to his kit.
