Bronze is so toxic

I get trolled to the point I have to mute my team just because I have a gold border.

My own team SHIT TALKS me...for having a gold border

"why are you in bronze" "does that mean he's good" "He is prolly gonna carry us" "put us on your back" "wow your mmr is so bad" "you're trash" "lol"

And then the team proceeds to lose. How does anyone that actually got to gold 5 last season deserve to go though the toxic cesspool that is Bronze? Didn't those of us that made it to gold do so to better our League experience? Didn't Riot say their "new system" would prevent inaccurate placements? I know I worked my butt off respectively to get from Bronze 2 last season to Gold 5 because I wanted to play with better players and have a better experience.
Now I have to grind through this bullshit all over again! Why, Riot? Is my skill level really Bronze material? Do I really suck that bad?
My shiny gold border doesn't think so :/ I don't think so.

Based on my placement games I don't even want to play ranked because I don't want to deal with that kind of immaturity and toxic people. It's sad when a ranked division is more toxic than normal games

I COULD do Ranked and possibly even get as far as Gold. Or I could stay in Team Builder and avoid the two whiny 14 year old #YOLOs who both demand mid when they're the last picks and the team captain already locked in mid as Anivia 2 min ago.

Bronze has always been this way. Silver right now is in just as bad a place. Mostly due to the fact that there's a lot of bronze players that are getting carried out and it's their first time being in silver. There's also the gold borders who climbed out last season, or haven't been lower than gold for a while. And just can't keep their salty and rage to themselves. So it'll be chaotic till a good portion of the skill cap difference is somewhat more balanced again.

If you were gold last season then bronze will be a breeze. I was diamond last season, got gold 3 from placements (4-6) and am currently plat 2 a week later and steadily climbing. Quit whining and play, if you're good you'll win more than you lose, if not, then maybe you're not as good as you think and need to improve. It's called solo queue for a reason, it determines your personal skill, not that of your team.

Gold players =/= Bronze players.

I'll get out of Bronze eventually, but it's a god damn waste of my time to grind through Bronze toxicity.
