You know what I liked about Miss Fortune?

She had a little bit of consistency. Her W was actually strong with the ability to reduce healing. Any comps or bot lane that even tried using healing would actually have to out play people instead of healing to win. This made MF in her own little spot, yeah she wasn't anything great but she had the GW that you wanted with the ability to be a decent trader as a lane bully. Now when I look at MF she is almost a free kill. Her passive hasn't changed, it still becomes useless after a minion shot or while in combat and once her passive is down she is the easiest ADC to catch. Her Q is still very lack luster, good early and garbage later. The "buff" that they gave it is so situational that I found my self getting CS with it almost always. E is still a massive waste of mana that has a cast time, the slow is still not noticeable, you will get caught anyways. W was nerfed massively, no more Grievous wounds but at least you can refresh your passive! AS buff still unchanged and stupidly weak for an ADC that has to rely on autos for almost all of her damage and has 0 mobility. I can live without her Ult being buffed but honestly it isn't anything worth picking over another ADC.

So with all of this Miss Fortune is in a terrible spot right now. She has little to no identity as she cant fill 1 certain role. People might say she does everything okay but not a master at anything. But that is the problem, she at least used to be the choice to reduce healing, now she does poorly because almost every other adc has a kit that gives them a clear strength past laning phase. A MF that is not massively ahead after lane will not bring enough to the table and will get caught easily.

TLDR: Miss Fortune needs a lot help. She has no identity, the last "rework" was a massive nerf with the removal of her GW. She is still the easiest ADC to catch and has no steroids if you will to help her out. Almost all of her abilities have flaws which needs to be addressed. The last patch was a big middle finger to everyone that liked Miss Fortune and actually played her to some success. I still think Riot is a bunch of Vayne mains.

Unrelated : I also don't like the new auto attack animation but meh.

The rework wasn't a rework lol. I hear this so often but I don't think people realize that she wasn't reworked.

Buffs

  • Passive scales faster as she levels, DoTs don't break the passive, shields block it
  • Q can critically hit (applies a stack of Frenzy) and do 150% damage
  • W reactivates strut, lower cooldown
  • E higher damage, stronger slow

Nerfs

  • Grevious Wounds removed

I personally don't feel like the rework was a nerf at all, and feel like Miss Fortune is a bit stronger. People need to stop acting like the "rework" was a rework, or even a nerf considering they gave her so many buffs to everything in her kit.

Recently my guide for Miss Fortune just became the second or third most popular (it changes often) and I asked a guy who owned the top guide his thoughts on Miss Fortune. Is she viable, is she strong, is she weak? He's a high elo player and seemed like he's very acknowledged on Miss Fortune, and here was his reply;

Personally I think she's fine, many exaggerate her "bad scalings," but that really isn't anything. If they change her E to physical damage with an AD scaling she'd be extremely overwhelming in my opinion lol. Her W makes her difficult to itemize against and I think that's a good charm. I don't have much of an opinion on statistics, MF is a huge pub stomper and most high elo MFs are usually MF mains, but yes her stats are extremely good.

I think she's in a good spot with her well-rounded abilities; she's can be a lane bully, a poke laner, an exceptional duelist, and a teamfighting monster. Having no natural escape mechanism (the instant passive activation on her W isn't very great, it's way too situational to be more useful than grievous wounds :/) isn't the best argument to say she's bad, just look at Sivir and Jinx :p

The problem with Miss Fortune is simply that she isn't a master at anything she does, people would rather have a defined strength that is higher than others, Sivir and Ashe have great utility and teamfight prowess, Draven and Cait are huge lane bullies, Vayne and Koggles are late game gods, etc. Miss Fortune has an average of all of those which is both a blessing and a curse, she is very diverse, but not the best at any of them which makes the community look down on her.

I say keep playing her. She's very rewarding and that versatility makes her great for playing at anything (behind, even, ahead). Her strength consistency is simply wonderful. Additionally, she pretty much can easily go even in any lane matchup (Draven is the only outlier imo.)
