He gets free damage just for doing what every character needs to do. He deals true damage with an ult has a twitch passive that stacks just as well does more damage and increases his abilities. He can tower dive like its nothing with 0 items because he's tanky and deals adc damage. If you don't think Darius is op and riot are the best game developers in the world go fuck yourself.

People go to boards and ask for help without calling that champion broken, they get upvotes and helpful advice.
I'll admit, I've complained on the boards that Graves top is ridiculous and his tankiness should be gutted (mind you, that was the past) to no avail. Later, I asked how to counter Graves while calmly explaining that I just wanted to know how I should build and who I should pick against him. The results were very satisfying and I was rather pleased.
Serevas3 votesThis is definitely the way it needs to be approached. I will however say that simply picking a counterpick champion isn't always the best way to go either. Gnar is considered a counter pick to Darius, but the last time I played the Darius side of it, I dumpstered the Gnar so hard he was irrelevant the entire game.
He didn't understand the counter part is that Gnar can stay out of range of Darius, and get away easily. Instead he fought me 1v1 4 times in lane, and with the same result each time. Fed me to the point it was irreparable.

If you're losing games solo/teamwise to a darius, look to why you're getting in range of him in the first place. He's very easily shutdown by a lot of champs top lane. Plus he just got nerfed.

That's not true. There's a Diamond 1 player here, on these very boards who kinda mains Darius. He even claims to have played him successfully in the bot lane. I don't really doubt it. I can see Darius being strong bot lane.

Go to pick rate then top. He's one of the most-picked top laners in the game in plat and up.
He only really starts to fall off pick-rate wise in Masters and higher.

In fact, his winrate actually goes down gradually every10 min. IF you can't counter hm successfully, you should stop playing LoL.

try to dodge his q TOWARDS him so you wont get a bleed stack/damage/he heals. engage on him relatively early (lv5ish) and try to get ganks, smart people can easily 2v1 him, he has no escapes. and dont dive him. and for the love of god DONT TRY TO AUTOATTACK HIM TO DEATH AT EARLY LEVELS. olaf does well against him. he is actually decently balanced RN.

Blazehhh1 votesDarius is very anti-fun and I'm sure many people hate the dude, but he's still balanced in a way. He doesn't have a lot of mobility, and if he manages to miss his Q and his pull, there's not much else he can do. There are ways to fight the guy, as impossible as it seems.
