Sion is Darius

Sion is Darius based on the evidence I have collected first, Sions former occupation was a noxus general while Darius's is a military general and if as you may know he is a noxus general that fought in many conflicts probably leading to his demise and revival by swain as Sion, another thing is both Darius and Sion have a fascination with blood and are diehard noxian also Darius is not listed as anything to Sion which is strange cause they would have known each other or fought together at some point unless they were the same person. Swain is an ally and a rival to Sion which could mean he has mixed feelings about him one being happy about his revival and another being resentful for bringing him back as a mindless monster hungry for violence. Darius and Sion both use axes and their Q both do an ape ability, and this might be a stretch but both their ultimate travel to an enemy to deal large amounts of damage to but with Sions bigger body mass he can't throw himself like he used to but instead charges forward with his might, also these lines I will try to paraphrase "noxus has no room for cowards" which was roughly said by Sions and Darius similarly says "coward is is frowned upon" again not accurate but it's a paraphrase of what they said which is their lines about coward is and similar feelings towards it. In the lore Sion talks about remembering what he was which would be a nod to his former self as Darius which would make sense as Darius had a very aggressive personality that would cling to his former self which swain wanted gone to replace with vigorous and force to be used as a puppet to wage wars. Sion and Darius are to similar for me to have ignored it so I decided to look into it more and found their odd similarities even closer and evidence pointing to Sions background being the same background as Darius also Darius and Sion both lane top which is another sign for them being one in the same, so I hope this theory gets some likening on the internet maybe my theory is brilliant or maybe it's jib burnish well I'd love to hear what every knee thinks thx. Ps sorry for my bad punctuation it's not a strong suit. And one last small thing swains crow is in Darius's splash art which may say something about Darius's future maybe swain was admiring his power in combat and decided to make him stronger as an undead.

Darius is pretty much Sions successor.

Sion was the right hand of Boram, the former grand general of noxus. When Sion died(while strangling Jarvan I),Boram started to become paranoid and wanted to revive sion, but it turned sion into a mindless beast, that killed allies and enemies alike and whose presence destroyed the moral of the noxian troops(not just because sion could kill them, but also because it was considered a dishonorable end for a war hero),so Boram locked Sion away in his mausoleum(the giant sion statue).

Darius can't be sion because Darius always worked for Swain,he thinks that swain is able to bring noxus back to glory and helped swain to become the new grand general(after boram died).

Swain then found and with the help of Vladimir "reprogrammed" sion so that sion now sees swain as his master,it only happened after swain became the grand general.

There is also a picture of Sions face when he was alive http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140930202458/leagueoflegends/images/b/bf/Sion_portrait_2.jpg

Darius isn't Sion because Sion was a war hero way back before Swain was even alive, even Darius. Not to mention Riot has stated that Darius disapproves of Sion's reanimated existence in the Q&A. Sion was back when J1 was a thing, Darius is now when J4 is a prince and, probably J3 is king. Basically, Darius would have to be about 200 years old for this to make sense. And he isn't, because then Draven would make little sense as well since he would have to be around 200 years old. Also, Darius doesn't really have a fascination for blood, he just... causes it since he is a warrior and soldier. It's hard to take your theory seriously since it's all extreme speculation and not any pure evidence. Also, their backgrounds aren't very similar at all despite them both being famous Noxian soldiers.

Next we wanted to address Sion’s ax and armor, specifically in relation to Darius, the man who’s taken on Sion’s role of general in contemporary Noxus.

Technically, as mentioned by Riot, Darius was just a general who took over Sion's rank after Sion died(before being resurrected of course).

not the same era, darius was alive when they were taking care of Sion.they may share the same themes but they're not the same. Darius is more "calm" than sion (which run berserk easily). You should read the lores

I suppose I'm wrong then but I mean I'm glad people came to tell me and give evidence for why I'm wrong instead of being assholes about it like many posts I've made about other stuff unrelated thx everybody!

I have another prove for this

Sion also says, how many jarvans do I need to kill?, in game.

Moreover it's also a hind that Leblanc is Jarvan IV - Darius slamming Jarvan IV many times but he never dies. why? He is Leblancs creation

Darius and Sion are very different from one another, and those differences are pretty much summarized by their armor and weapons. Darius bears platemail and wields a sharpened, polished greataxe. His weapon is a brutal one, but he uses it with precision and (relative) finesse, striking the enemy with refined hits to cripple them and make them bleed, even if he's not making the most strikes like someone like Olaf and Fiora would. He leads through strength and dominance, crushing the weak under his heel, be they friend or foe, but he still has a sense of self-preservation, hence the armor.

Sion is... not so refined. He wears no armor (I highly doubt he did when he was still alive), he's missing a foot, he's covered in scars, and his weapon is large, crude and blunt for an axe. Sion uses the axe in only one of his skills whereas Darius uses it in all four, and only half of his basic attack animations actually use the axe. His passive he forgoes the axe completely and whales on the enemy with his bare hands.

Sion is a berserker, "leading" through sheer brutality and violence against anyone in front of him, be they friend or foe. He uses the axe because it gives him reach, but he uses it with no finesse. Outside of the turret attack animation where he chops at it like a tree, the axe might as well be a club, given the way he uses it for crushing rather than chopping, but he doesn't use a club or mace because he's still a few ticks more intelligent and "refined" than Trundle.

Sion has no sense of self-preservation, evidenced by his many scars and lack of armor, but he's built like a tank so he's still harder to take down than Darius. He only cares about the fighting and killing, not the nation he fights for (he mostly fights for them because they ally with his ideals) or the blood that he spills. His (old) title of general (in Noxus is basically one step below Grand General, which is their version of king) at this point seems to be a mostly honorary one, as he doesn't seem to have much weight or authority to it like it does on Darius; he's a general because he has a high body count and he murdered a king. He's pretty much the embodiment of blind rage.

I have a feeling that they're related through blood and many generations, but that's as close as it gets.
