How to make Bard NOT troll with his ultimate Riot!

I'm pretty sure that Bard will be used for helping the enemy team out. He can open a tunnel up for them to come across a wall to gank the lane easier, and stun his teammates from across the map. And I was wondering: "Why not allow for allies to choose if they want to be stunned?" That way, you know, the support doesn't ult you while Leblanc and Sejuani are chasing you, aimed directly at you and not them... Its easy, simply add an icon above allied champions within the circle, the icon is Bards face. Even while under cc they can click on it to allow for them to enter stasis for when it activates. - doesn't force his marksmen to follow him with his lantern, pulling them with him into the enemy tower alone, does he? - doesn't throw a 50 health Zilean into the enemy tower does she? So why is it the special case here? It would definitely pose some issue of balance since Bard would have to worry less about freezing his teammates in place but, it could be compensated through a higher cooldown.

EDIT: Leaving this change in the game will promote trolling, and the mobility meta. See, all you have to do to not get stunned by your own support is have a dash..... So , , and everyone without mobility just got nerfed.
