From all of the AD mid lanes that I've fought, they all seem to do plenty of damage, assassinate 100% well, and do a ton of damage from the start to end of the game. Anyone else getting the same situations?
I'm confused as to why they are getting an entirely new item to make them even stronger.

XxxLumberJackxxX1 votesI think think the 'issue' is that melee ADs use the same items as ranged ADCs, with very few exceptions (i.e. hydra items). So melee and assassins need their own 'items'
but yes, adc items work very well on ehtm

ad mids getting stronger because of it will be a by product, but riot is just testing some stuff to help assassins.

Changsty1 votesRead the red post collections, I believe the intent of introducing this item was to have another option to balance the AD Assassin group as a whole, which would be easier if most of them were centered around certain core items. As it stands, any nerfs/buffs to ADCs would be felt by the Assassins as well, which makes balancing through items somewhat harder.
Troiann1 votesNo, they're balanced. The new item in my opinion isn't going to help any AD assassin except maybe kha zix.
Maybe if you're bad the assassin dagger will help supplement the burst, but the thing is they can kill you w/o a problem already. The time it takes for nightfall to proc is already too long anyways, adc will just QSS it, mages hourglass it.
Basically if you can burst them, they'll die before night fall proc. If you cannot burst fast enough for nightfall to proc, they live no matter what.
