Want Stealth Wards Back

I feel like there were a number of changes that made Season 6 less fun than the preceding seasons of LoL, one of which was the removal of green wards. I miss those guys, even though I didn't discover their true potential until about 6 patches before they were removed. Season 4 was still the most fun by far; ever since then, the game has become less fun. Champions being pumped out every month (it seems) really ruins it. Give us lore and more/better reworks for champs too please.

in my opinion that was a toxic design that stressed to much on supports to buy wards and fk items. Now the 3 ward limit puts less pressure on the support to ward since they can only have 3 out at once and makes warding more of a "team" game.

sadly thats still the case, I support main and have since the beginning. And people are just as bad now as they always have been about having the support being the warder. Yes adc will typically get the blue ward but for the most part those are garbage, the only real benefit is the longer range to place them so you dont have to get to close to a bush to ward it. I honestly miss the days when I could just buy as many wards as I wanted and could place as many wards as I wanted.

The only way to get 3 wards out is to have a sightstone though. Sure, the jungler can drop a ward with one of the jungle items, but most of the time I see them running the slow or damage smite instead.

Since sightstone is a support item, even the restrictions currently in place make warding more the support's job than anyone else's. If wards could be bought, it would allow other roles to provide additional warding, without impacting supports who get a sightstone.

Having permanent wards that are invisible yet reveal all other wards + stealth is one of the stupidest ideas ever.

Stealth wards didn't have true vision either. Invisible units could go through stealth wards unnoticed.

So it's basically a 3m long invisible ward that lets you see other wards? My bad, I got it completely wrong. Some people were telling me otherwise a while back.

It didn't reveal other wards because they're invisible too. Only Pink Ward (which is called Vision Ward in game) lets you see invisible units like stealthed champions and invisible wards. These are permanent, but are visible, and thus easy to destroy.

the old green wards lasted 3 mins, and pink wards lasted forever but could be cleared with other pinks or oracles

Yellow lasts way less than green in early game. Btw, sightstone wards are pretty much green wards.

Soo.. Are Stealth Wards the green ones that work like the new yellow trinkets but you have to buy them? I think I started playing right before they were removed.

Only they didn't refresh like yellow trinket and yeah you bought them - they costed 75g each.
