It's becoming more clear nothing short making ADCs unplayable will please many on Boards.

  • Nerfs to ADC 1, 2 and potentially 3 item spikes? Done.
  • Nerfs to damage against squishy targets for most of the game? Done (Maybe not far enough)
  • Nerfs to ADC tankiness? Done; ADCs lost armor and HP regen exchange for like 70 more HP at level 11 on average?
  • Nerfs to ADC hp sustain? Done in the form of HP regen nerfs and Fleet Footwork nerfs.
  • Huge buff to assassins in the form of old Last Whisper? Done.
  • Possible buff on top of that in the form of Stormrazor? Done.

Look I get the class has been too strong for too long, but when you see them get nerfed on multiple levels and it's still not enough for people, then the goal is no longer to "balance" the class, the goal is to destroy it.

Theyll forget in a week and go to the new circle jerk, dont worry. Even if riot did nothing something else would grab their attention.

If it wasn't for adcs this game could actually be interesting.

I checked numbers.

Tankiness of ADC is increased by ~2% assuming they build zero non-HP defensive items, don't lifesteal, and are losing 100% of their health to Physical Damage at level 18.

Naturally, until about Lv 11, the -5 Armor is pretty significant because you don't have enough raw HP to make up for it...when you're taking physical damage.

Furthermore, having Armor and Lifesteal is naturally synergetic, so that 2% is going to be decreased as you heal up. That's a number partially offset by the -2.25 HP/5, mind, but that's often pretty negligible in the first place if memory serves.

When taking magic damage, it's a straight buff, and since most poke spells in the game are magic damage it just further grants the class resilience against these effects when they already had plenty (lifesteal).

I mean, it's not really a nerf to tankiness is all. If the ADC builds any non-HP defensive items it's a huge efficiency increase since they've got 60 to 70 more HP at level 11 which is an increase of around 6%.

I'm mostly blathering on so

tl;dr; a) Lv <6, ADC is less tanky. (-8 to -3% damage needed to kill) b) Lv >6, ADC is about as tanky. (-4 to +3% damage needed to kill) c) Lv >11, ADC is tankier. (-1 to +7% damage needed to kill)

I still dont want bot lane to determine the game though

"If ADCs get nerfed they will whine and whine." -What many of Gameplay boards claimed and upvoted.

In reality, no one is complaining about ADC nerfs except people who think it's a buff (hint: it isn't.). Also, that same delusion of endless whining is what mage posts are all about. These mage posts made by the same people who claimed ADC mains would whine and whine.

You can't make this shit up.

Says they are nerfs but they arent really nerfs. Even then they need hard nerfs.

Nerfing ADC damage by 5% early game while buffing it dramatically mid-late game is not "fixing" anything. ADCs need to have the lowest burst in the game, but higher sustained damage.

As it is, we're reinforcing the ADC assassin meta.

People often forget ADC's are what kill tanks. Without an ADC you could play triple tank comps and just muscle your way through a game. But when that get a brought up suddenly people don't want to play nothing but tanks every game.

Because people are confusing ADC strength for bot lane strength. The adc changes only account for part of rebalancing bot lane. Supports are going to be taking a hit next (hopefully) as they are more overpowered than marksmen easily.
