Shield Strength Runes?
I feel like runes aren't oriented enough toward supports.
There are cases where other champions who are much less frequent (That is, not being played in every single game) then supports are who have runes specifically for them.
Like:
Lee Sin (Energy regen runes) Zed (Energy regen runes)
And there are runes specific to other classes/types of characters but not to supports
Like:
Critical chance (ADC's) Critcal chance scaling (ADC's) Lethality (AD champs) AP runes (Any APC's and some supports) Magic Pen (Any APC's)
But there are 0 runes for supports specifically.
Like:
Healing % increase (Support - increases the extra % of healing done) If you heal for 100 health 10% extra healing is 110 total heal
Shield % increase (Support - Same as healing % but for shields)
Healing increase (Support - Hard numbers like 30-50 per quint and around 1-3 per rune which adds to shield strength)
Shield increase (Support - Same as healing increase but for shields)
I feel like this would really add some personal choice to the support roles. As Janna you could choose shield strength if you want to rely on your shield, or you could choose healing strength to increase your ults effectiveness in team fights.
As Sona you could choose magic pen/ap to increase your damage, or healing strength to increase your W's effectiveness. Or even shield strength so you have a better presence in team fights since your heal only hits one person.
Does anyone else agree with this or does this seem like it might be super broken? I'm no balance master so the numbers above are nothing but suggestions however since I am a support main it might be a bit bias
