Karthus Jungle with Runeglaive (Viable?)

Nobody ever seems to bring up Karthus as being able to jungle with runeglaive. The runeglaive solves his mana issues, and he has no problem killing the monsters. The only thing is being fragile early on, but you can just be careful.

The appeal is that his 1 second cooldown can trigger runeglaive every time the 1.5 sec cooldown is over.

I have only played a few games with him during free week, so my experience is limited, and I am only lvl 20, so not very ranked or anything. A handful of games isn't really a broad enough sample to say whether or not it is viable.
