How often are people getting champion shards?

I got one, bard champ shard, in the last couple months. I'd say I get 95% skin shards and 5% champion shards. I was just wondering if this is normal or is it a bug or is my luck just really bad?

Skin shards are better than champion shards since you can buy a random champion shard for 1700 ip. I only use champion shards to disenchant into essence to get mastery 6 champions.

Yeah I value skin shards more as well but I want those champ shards so I can get masteries 6 and 7 on my mains lol.

I'd say just buy them with ip. I've spent tons of ip to get my whole top champion page with all level 6 lol. But 2 are about to be level 7, so I'll need them and 2 more other level 6 champions to replace them

For me I'd say it's around 3/1 split in favor of skin shards.

I'm very okay with that, since I value skin shards much more than I do champ shards. You can buy champ shards for IP for Pete's sake.

I have almost 5k blue essence and about 7 houndred orange essence. I have even used about 2k blue essence already.
