What is the Hardest Role in the Game?
I've seen this question asked in the past and people said Top but that was before all the changes season 5 brought. So, halfway through Season 5 now what does the community think is the hardest role to learn?

I think they are all equally hard. Some of the roles have a larger learning curve which makes learning them harder. For me jungle is my worst/hardest role simply because I never play it. Alternatively someone who jungles all the time might find mid to be a hard role.
Honestly, I have a small critique for the poll. Those are lanes, not roles (well, jungle and support count, but). Thing is, we should be talking about bruisers, tanks, etc and all that as well as (not instead of) lanes. How each role and lane interact with each other and their respective match-ups cause a flux in difficulty, if you ask me.
A Vayne adc top, for instance, can be easy with the right match-ups against that poor melee tank. Then comes the teamfights, and you have no initiation and the tank just cc's you while the assassin or mage makes short work of you.
And don't even get me started on communication. Timing is essential to every role, from tanks initiating to carries capitalizing on it.
And there's mechanics, team synergy, specific jobs to do, etc etc.
Honestly, I'm just going to say that every role and every lane and every match-up is just too damn complicated to say that one lane or role is more difficult than the rest. And this is coming from a jungle/support main, one of those guys who has people telling me my role is the easiest one day and the hardest the other.
I'd also say they are probably equally hard, but they take different kinds of skill.
Jungle needs less mechanical knowledge, but needs more map awareness and enemy prediction. Mid tends to be the most mechanically complex with lots of skillshot and other complex abilities, but has the shortest lane and so is less focused on wave control. Top is all about the 1v1 matchup most of the time, with also some emphasis on wave control, but needs less map awareness and team coordination. ADC and support both need more teamwork to do well. Marksman has focus on farming, so last-hitting mechanics are important, but map awareness a bit less so (especially with the support helping.) Support is a lot about predicting enemies and allies, more focus on map awareness and ability mechanics, obviously less on last-hitting.
Jungling is easily the hardest role
It has the biggest learning curve of course Jungling as a whole is changed drastically on a patch-by-patch basis, meaning jungle mains have to keep a wider variety of picks and be much more adaptable than other mains Junglers have to know the largest amount of matchups since they have to deal with all lanes

This pretty much sums it up.
Followed by support. I main support and let me tell you, even if I know I will die, guaranteed, it is almost ingrained into me to go in and help everyone due to the fact that the never ending spout of nonsense 20 minutes later about how I am useless because I backed that one time, or I went to ward dragon and my ADC didn't play conservatively for 10 seconds.
Also, I feel like I need to watch the map more than everyone else, watch timers, and I half the time feel like I have to tell people where to go. That part could be me just telling people what to do just because though.
Probably Jungle. Yes, I'm a jungle main. Say what you will. But, I think the biggest difference is your early game responsibility. Laners have to keep their one or two opponents in check. In the jungle, the whole map is your responsibility.
My top three proposed hardest roles for anyone to play is this: Jungle. ADC. Support.
out of those 3, 2 are the easiest :)
Jungle: Hardest in terms of Knowledge Support: Hardest to carry as ADC/Mid: Hardest Mechanically (depends on champion) Top: Only hard if you are Dyrus (huehuehue get genked screwb)
Jungle: Have to know a bit of everything, and if a lane sucks, its your fault for not ganking. Also have to pay attention to your jungle, their jungle, Drag and Baron.
Support: Kinda hard to carry as someone who gets about max 200 ap. Also you get your ass kicked as much as the jungler, if not worse.
Adc: Your mechanics have to be on point, and you have to know how to carry( I can get you 13 kills, but if you have no focus and no positioning, then we could be in for a bumpy ride)
Mid: Another position that could be a carry position, and you have the easiest lane to gank. Also calling MIA is your responsibility.
Top: You snowball or get snowballed on, unless its 2 tanks, then it becomes a farm lane.
ADC is definitely up there. You're squishy, and you have to try to carry. You're the one focused in team fights. You're the one people will rely on to be good.
and your the only one people will defend. its the easiest role right after support. you have 4 people working their asses of to defend you. squishyness doesnt mean shit.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I definitely find ADC a difficult role to pull off effectively. I can't play it very well because I hate playing squishies and don't end up having a good time. Hm... But you're right! I'm pretty stupid, actually. All League roles are hard to play at a good level, because League is a hard game in general (in my opinion, of course). But ADC is definitely not the hardest. Jungle, top, and mid are all harder to play than ADC.
But I wouldn't say all 4 other teammates protect the ADC. If I'm playing support and my ADC is bad, I'll usually protect whoever's carrying when I'm in team fights. When I'm mid, I'll use protective spells on whoever's carrying and try to snipe off people who are trying to hurt the carry. If the ADC, who's supposed to carry, is carrying, then I'll protect them. It's circumstantial.
And, uh... *You're.
I think jungler and support are the hardest roles to play effectively. Top is up there as well because you are usually on your own. There are rarely any ganks, and whoever wins the lane is going to be a huge asset to their team because they will roam right after.
I was playing a game where I was getting destroyed in top lane because of my ping, finally it worked itself out, but not after I went 0/3. Really stupid of me, however the fed top laner did not ever go off to roam. Despite their jungler camping on our side. Instead I did, and I was thankful for it. I got myself fed, pushed lanes, and by mid game I was ahead of her with the superior build and not making anymore stupid mistakes. None of them could take me on by themselves, so this gave my teammates time to farm and push their lanes too. It was a game that ended rather quickly after that, and it's something I noticed happens a lot.
I think the role that has it the easiest is ADC. Yes you're targeted because you do a ton of damage, but you have 2 other teammates to rely on, support and jungler that are devoted to keeping you alive and getting you fed. Farming is also so easy to do as an ADC.
I'd say jungle & support.
In both cases if lane loses it has to be either junglers or supports fault, case you know.. TOP/MID/ADC are fail-proof. For sure they are flamed the most too.
Top - Have to be especially careful for ganks and in some cases expect none, Also need to be aware and time your teleport correctly.
Mid - know how to effectively roam, be careful from ganks in all directions
Jungle - Know what lanes to gank, objective control and jungle control but also has no-one they have to deal with the whole time like laners if they are warding properly are relatively safe.
ADC - Farm effectively while there is a person who's sole job is to poke/catch you. help take objectives, and kite.
Support - Vision control (moreso then everyone else although everyone else should be warding as well), keeping people safe(which is hard considering sometimes it feels like they are trying to die), CC, poke/catch the enemy.
While it may look like some roles are easier then others, it has more to do with the champions you pick in my opinion then the lanes you play.
Vayne players has something to say:
: Actually, ADC is considered to be the easiest role ever! I mean, all you do is cs unti-
YAH YAH YAH BLAH BLAH BLAH, your actual specialty in ADC role is toxicity, not carry, now shush.
Mid is by far, the most skill-sensitive role. You're expected to win lane, get cs and kills on your own, later on, mass CC, DPS and help with peel. The playstyle is also very diverse, you have AD caster, assassin, mid-range mage and artillery, each of which has different playstyle and requires different skill set.
its jg just one bad smite then the wholw team is angry asf at u
i think bot lane and jungle are the hardest.
imo each role has hard parts for me except jungle, whether it be remembering to keep wards up as supp or getting good cs as adc then you have knowing you mid matchups or remembering to use teleport when your top lane
Adc Or Support are very hard. Adc is probably the hardest out of the 2 but the reason I put both is because. Adc will become very very simple and easy if the support knows what he's doing. And support has to try and inch the enemys away from your adc aswell as trying to get them fed.
