lane bullies are needed in every game, otherwise what would be the point to hypercarries?

learn to play safe, not every lane is supposed to be winnable by skill, but every lane is survivable by skill. These champions trade their late game for a stronger early game, same as every hyper-carry trades their early game in favor of a dominating late game.

Do you want every champion to just have the same powerspikes and niche in the game? That'd be hella bland

Edit: this doesn't mean that every single early-game champion falls off correctly (just like how not every hyper-carry has a weak early). It's not a perfect system, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be a system

there are ones that follow the philosophy accordingly: Renekton Pantheon Shaco Sona XinZhao (and I know I'll get a lot of hate for this) LeeSin + a lot of assassins

and on the reverse side: Gangplank Ezreal (blue build, or when he isn't broken off an item anyways) Jax Kassadin Jinx Kayle KogMaw Nasus Singed TwistedFate Twitch Veigar

there is a general rule about this, and you shouldn't try painting a couple of outliers as an excuse to just make every champion have the same powerspikes or same power levels throughout the entire game.

Pantheon doesn't need as much skill as maybe jayce.

Jayce can be exploited in lane even 1v1.

Best way to learn how is to play Jayce yourself.

But it's true that he doesn't really fall off.
