Why do intentional feeders get away with ruining so many games?

before you say its "just a bad game"

look at his damage.

the guy gave up after 4 deaths and started running into 5 people and spamming his dance.

all he did was call me autistic and flame the living shit out of me while i tried to carry his diamond 4 gangplank maining ass. he was then roaming around the map refusing to touch a minion or an enemy creep while the rest of the team tried to 4v5.

why do these worthless human beings who are such wastes of oxygen and life always managing to ruin games and just move onto the next game?

why is it that your system cant pick up a darius thats in the enemy jungle 10 minutes in suiciding but can pick up the riven telling him hes an asshole for ruining everyones game?

why is it that he doesnt instantly get banned after the game other than waiting for him to go 0-166666666666666 for 200 more games before you decide its time to let him go?

why cant i just call someone on the support team and tell him this cockroach did this in my game and they instantly ban his ass?

I'm curious how a level 18 player got queued with a diamond 4, much less how they'd carry them.

Nonetheless, I find most often that if I see a screenshot like the one you linked here and I have to look real hard for who the intentional feeder is, chances are, they aren't intentionally feeding. The keyword here being "intentional". In my experience, intentional feeders give up, sell all their items, and continue to "run it down mid" until the game is over. This Darius has an average number of deaths for how long the game went on and at least earned enough gold to keep up with the enemy mid, which is really saying something. In addition, he had the highest CS of your entire team.

Nothing about this screenshot says "intentionally feeding" to me.

You answered the question yourself. As much as you don't want to hear it, the "just a bad game" excuse makes those kinds of games acceptable.

I agree with this 100% Riot tries too hard to be policemen of negative people. They fail to realize that people have this wonderful sense called emotion, and when frustration from other's mistakes (or purposely failed plays) occurs, chat is the first place they go to vent. I think it's unfair to use a system to catch certain phrases and ban on the spot, but then moderate inting by a person. A computer can't pick up human emotion in a chat log. I bet you if I read through some games that PBuster picked up as "Ban this player" i would find a good reason for their flame. NOTE however that perpetually calling someone offensive names and possibly even homophobic or racist terms isn't fair either, but it should at least be more lenient on calling people out for making mistakes, because everyone does that at some point.

TLDR: Riot needs to think of a better way to 1) Ban players based on chat logs or 2) Switch their way of banning int feeders to an automated system similar to their chat bot.
