Ammount of LP lost when you lose because of AFKS

Ok so Ive been playing LoL a lot lately and ive also been climbing the ranks. Ive seen that in ranked games a lot of people will just rage quit (especially in my elo which is silver 5) and my team will lose an outrageous amount of LP due to AFKS. Maybe RIOT can make it so each AFK on your team will take away 5 LP lost for the team still playing and the AFK person will lose more LP than us. So instead of me losing 15 LP I would lose 10 for 1 AFK. I feel like if you play ranked you better try your hardest because other players on your team want to rank up and might take is more seriously than you do. Im fine with a few lost matches because we all go on tilt at some point but to lose because of an AFK just upsets me because I know we could have won.

i have noticed a lot of people have been posting about this problem (me included) lets hope Rito does something to fix this

i think its better to just have a set reduction amount for any afks. like maybe 25% or 50% less lp lost with an afk. realistically, any number of afks== a lose.
