Like...you can only carry one or two at a time?
Even one would be good. There won't be much spamming going on if you can only have one mana pot. A lot of mages have been crippled early game solely because of this decision and this isn't even taking into consideration other cough masteries cough changes.

As for the corruption potion, I haven't tested it out yet, but just the price is not something I want to spend my gold on. I'd rather buy other things and be able to spend 35g on a mana pot (or 50g now).

I've tried it. It's awful, may as well start mana crystal and pots as long as you can build an item that builds from it.
