Can Lux's E have either a forced delay or at least have its damage scale with charge time?

Please either give it a forced delay where Lux's E can not detonate before X seconds or at least have its damage scale with charge time/how long it's on the field.

As it stands, it's an undodgeable poke that deals a lot of damage for anyone who doesn't have not only instant but also disposable mobility at their disposal. There is 0 chance for the opponent to try and dodge Lux's E if they're not massively mobile, because the AoE comes as soon as it flies out, where Lux just hammers the E like a mad man and it detonates the instant it reaches the desired distance. If you think Brand's W is bullshit, then get a load of Lux's E.

This is not even getting into the fact E has its own AoE CC, where she often chains E into a Q root (it roots you for TWO SECONDS, with a gigantic hitbox, and can go through 1 unit to catch your ass) combo that you basically can't dodge any of it and eat a bunch of damage you can't do anything against, and often simply death after she is post-6.

Lux's Q is another bag of worms, but whatever. Let's assume Lux's Q is okay, but I will not tolerate E which makes the broken ass EQ combo (and later EQR grey screen combo) possible, as well as being a 0 counterplay harass that does a buttload of damage in lane.

It's really frustrating, having to lane against a Lux more often than not.

Please for the love of everything that is holy, at the very least makes it so Lux's E either has a fixed delay in which it can not detonate prior to it or at least makes it so the damage scales based on the charge time.

Thanks,

From a butthurt camel whose back is finally broken

Stay away from minions, dodge the Q, hard shove her if she focuses on poking you instead, base as needed on cannon waves.

Lux is one of the easiest lanes to defeat and one of the most important, basic lanes to learn to play against. Take advantage of that and stop crying to get it fixed.

E is definitely dodgeable at max range. Play lux for yourself and find out how the e travel speed nerf made it much harder to just sit safely and throw out random Es.

If you all in vs a support lux lane then her only way of dealing with this is to root the ADC. Lux support gets outperformed by other support mages and her winrate is sporadic. Why would you nerf someone who's niche and underperforms usually?

Lux has to sacrifice a lot when she is spamming spells at you, this sounds more of a match-up knowledge issue than a Lux issue. What champions are you having a hard time facing lux as? Having a good lane against lux is usually about beating her out of lane early on, when she is behind she is incredibly weak, and doesn't have good recovery. Post some champs you play as and i can show you how to face her in each scenario.... if you really care to learn.

You do realize asking the same company that is focused on huge damage is not gonna work right? They want more champions that can oneshot in the game

Entirely skillshot reliant, one of the most telegraphed kits in the game, and is squishy with no mobility.

Early boots either tier will make your life much easier. And if Lux gets the changes that you ask for then it'll gut her. Basically if you'e squishy and get caught by her Q, then you deserve to die, any other burst mage can do that. If she misses either her Q or her E, then she has no protection besides a shield, and thus easily killed. If you still have problems vs Lux, then buy HP or Magic Resist, or buy an Hourglass.

Also, make it so her Q now only roots minions, her W shields enemies too and her R only damages any Galios in play. Oh, and for her passive to apply the player should have to select the enemy hit and type in "/applyLuxPassive" within 0.5 seconds of landing the ability. It wouldn't hurt to increase Lux's size by a factor of 3 and make it so she can only move while the player is humming the Imperial March from Star Wars into his microphone. Balance!
