Honestly riven is just the worst to lane against

From the very start of the game she zones you off your cs with her Qs. And unless you counter her with "gnar" people have said- it's just gonna be a shitty lane. They picked riven first and I picked maokai. People might just say "well duh riven wins that matchup easily he's supposed to lose that". I just don't really care if that is the case. Even if she does counter mao or something, nobody should have that much power in lane just because her kit. The AoE knock up and stun just seems ridiculous. Sion has to lay his area out in front of you and charge up for like 3 seconds before a knock up. She just runs at you at lvl 3 as if she's 10 kills deep and knock up stuns you for an early kill. I get it's "easy not to feed in lane" and I agree with that. But there seems to be 0 counter play to riven. Maybe somebody has a secret trick I don't know of , but riven seems a tad too strong. Or her kit is just naturally toxic
