So why is mordekaiser's new ult cleansable?

When you really think about this makes no sense at all. Cus a cleanse is supposed to remove any CC debuff. but morde's ult isn't a stun, root, or even a slow. I was really looking forward to this morde rework to cus this ult is something ive been wanting for so long. To be winning the 1v1 (which i always do of course) then see the enemy jungler coming to ruin it all and I can just go "nope ima finish this 1v1 first" its a fucking amazing ability that isnt that that was balanced very well. but damn it feels so bad that it can be rendered completely useless just by purchasing a qss or even running the cleanse summoner spell. I hope when riot goes to nerf him (cus i'll be honest he is a bit overtuned, not broken but overtuned) they change this so that he doesn't go straight into the dumpster. Please riot :)

Do you see the irony in that sentence? Mordekaiser R is a debuff. Obviously, QSS should work against it. What I find more interesting is why QSS doesn't remove the stat debuff. It should dispel everything.

Without the ability to remove it through things like QSS, this skill would become the ultimate objective control. Mordekaiser could just ult the enemy jungler every single time he tries to contest an objective like dragon or baron and they would be absolutely unable to ever get anything in this situation.

QSS removing his ult is a needed layer of counterplay. Remove that and Mordekaiser will become absolute god tier in pro play (and most likely high elo).

Good, the worse he is, the better for the whole community.

We had enough trouble adjusting to Zed's ult not being cleansable, we don't need another oppresive bullshite.
