My feedback on Kindred

So I've been playing alot of kindred for awhile and these are things I learned about them. First off, this isn't a champ that's particularly great in solo Q, however does have potential to be played in solo q. Just want to throw that out there, not saying that they need to be good for it.

Second, Kindred feels like feast/famine, due to her damage potential to be relevant being highly reliant on her passive stacks. Which is weird cause I thought riot was trying to avoid making such champs.

Third, their theme, I love it, I love what riot did with he VO and the character synergy with the whole yin yang. It gives a nice feel to the champ, especially the idle animation, jokes, and even the death story telling. But my only problem with the theme is this, they are suppose to be the representation of death, the grim reaper, and you basically only see them when its your time to die. The only thing that kinda throws that off, and what I find to be, a bit opposite feel from that theme is how they treat the "hunts" as a game. Its somewhat understandable for wolf personality to be someone who enjoys chasing/violently ending someone life but overall to treat it as a hunting game, seems off to me. It feels like it doesn't exactly fit their theme as good.

Now the main thing I want to say in all honestly. Kindred feels bit underwhelming (under powered). They doesn't feel like this ofc with her stacks pretty high up there. But for them to get there, they needs to be able to acquire their stacks, preferably early on to make a power stance mid -late to late game. But them to do that, they needs to do, semi good early game, but that is where the problem lays.

Her base stats are low, Having 49 base ad at lvl 1, 2.2 ad per level 325 movement speed with 500 attack range

On that note, kindred's abilities have low ad ratios, the Q having a 20% total ad, while the base damage being fairly low, W having a 40% total ad ratio while doing 40% of the passive damage per hit, and the E having 20% total ad, however also doing 5% of the enemies max health.

However, Kindred, compared to other marksmen, is quite durable early on, but that's due to them being a jungler.

Also, kindred being a short range "mobile" marksmen, their movement speed base is too low to meet that, being as slow as Ashe and Cait, whom have greater range compared to kindred, while other in her catergory, like ezreal, lucian, quinn, vayne, etc, Has greater movement speed.

So to sum things up in this section, Kindred is bit durable early on considering them being a marksmen, however, their short range, low base/poor ad scaling and oddly low movement speed base makes kindred overall, feel weak.

I get the sense that kindred suppose to be somewhat as a hyper scaling marksmen because of their passive but for them to even reach that, they are highly reliant early/mid game, along with team cooperation to help kindred reach that. I also get that the main goal of kindred is suppose to be reliant on their passive for their damage, however I don't think kindred should be too reliant on their passive.

So this is what I'm going to suggest is small buffs to help this duo:

Increasing base movement speed from 325, to 335 Increasing base AD from 49 to 52. while increasing ad per level from 2.2, to 2.5 Allowing Q to apply the passive mark damage, but a reduced amount, similar to W active on hit.

The reason I say Kindred should get the buff on Q is logic. If kindred is mainly reliant on their passive for damage, why doesn't their main damage ability apply it as well? It would be pretty overwhelming if it applied the full damage however given that the cd can be low when in W, but Q on its own, is somewhat fairly weak.

What is your thoughts on kindred? and thoughts on my feedback?

I largely agree, though differ on the "how to fix" when it comes to the Q, Personally I would like to see better AD ratios simply for a means to come into the game when you CANT get your stacks. If your team doesnt help you and the enemy jungle alone tries to stop you from getting stacks (by killing stuff in their own jungle, which every jungler does) then you have no way to come into the game with out stacks, and late game automatically turns into a 4v5 for your team. They dont really work well in Solo Q because you need your teams help, and they wont work in competitive team play because their means of scaling is easily shut down, with a couple easy wards.

I would like to have a bigger buff on their stacks early on and it get lower the more you have. Right now it is 1.25 per mark. That is not bad, but I would like the first mark to be 2% then the second be 1.5, then the rest be the flat 1.25.

Another thing I would like is a small change to her W passive. It stats in game that they "drain" health from the target, but it does not. It is just a flat heal like Xin or Aatrox W. If Kindred attacks with 0 Vigor they do 90 damage, if they attack with 100 vigor it is still 90 damage and heals 60 health. I would like that 60 health to also be damage to the target cause the text says and the particle effects seems to show that it is indeed draining the health from the target.
