@Repertoir on Malzahar
As a midlane Malz player the rework worries me, because to me it looks like a vast portion of Malz's power is being put into his W and passive. From videos and some of the pbe comments I feel like his q and e deal very little damage with the base nerfs and scaling, and that the voidling damage can be inconsistent. Would it be possible to juggle his numbers?
Right now I am looking at Kassadin's e with its spell stacking mechanic. Malz's old passive required him to cast spells to get voidlings; what if his old passive and Kassadin's passive were combined a bit? W will gain a stack for each spell malz casts, and the max stack would go up with rank (ex: 1 voidling at rank 1, 5 max at rank 5). You could cast it early to release a lower voidling amount, but by holding and building it up you could release a swarm of voidlings. Ideally maybe revert the q changes to give more power but also to stop any spamming q to build up w. This could help jungle malz as he could manage stacks like in live. This would also put some choice into malzahar. Release five voidlings and e a minion for quick wave clear, or hold it to try and catch his lane opponent.
Probably needs some work, but thought I would throw that out there.
