[RANT] HEIMERDINGER is probably the most toxic champion in the game

Please excuse me if this is an unjustified rant, but I have just lost a game against a Heimerdinger and am so tilted by his gameplay patterns (OR LACK THEREOF) that I have to talk about it. I'm sorry, I'm never like this, but honestly, the tilt is too real.

OK, so Heimerdinger has UNPARALLELED SAFETY in lane. With the turret positioning and his zoning Grenades it is incredibly difficult to even GET CLOSE to deal any SIGNIFICANT damage, while the rockets and turrets reply EASILY to any trade he may engage in. This represents a lack of MEANINGFUL DECISIONS and COUNTERPLAY when in lane. And, because of the way he scales, he converts these strengths from the early game into the mid game and has enough tools in his kit to COUNTERACT any play against him in lane.

For these reasons, I believe Heimerdinger is in a TERRIBLE GAME HEALTH position in his current state but Riot won't touch him because of the problems stated above. He needs changes, and SOON!

Tips vs him, for future help Turrets: Taking out one turret does nothing to him in Lane. So only ever go for 2 or more Turrets can't shoot while the laser is firing, so try to kill them at that point if possible. Turrets take a while to be moved, so he can't push very fast. However, he can't be pushed in, so focus on farming YOUR minions Heim turrets don't increase damage when you level up the ability, so if he hits level 1,3,5,7, or 9, leave one of the old towers alive, it reduces his total damage substantially. Spirits cowl can heal you for more than one turret hit does, and gives magic resist. Rockets: These don't hurt as a single rocket, only when bunched They have a slight channel time, that can show you where rockets will go Grenade: This skill is super hard to hit, so most of the time you can just keep going without consequences. If heim throws it out, INSTANTLY double back. Travel time increases with distance, you WILL be stunned if you go in close

he may have safety but he still sucks

he has low damage and high costs outside of his turrets, you may be trapped under tower for a while but i have always found as long as he doesn't get a kill, he falls off hard

TBH heimer is pretty bad right now. His counterplay involves working around his turrets. Characters that outrange him, have great aoe, or some assassins (Zed, can ult QE then go back out to avoid turret damage. Also 2/4 abilities AOE)

Agreed.

The heimer rework was completely unnecessary and he was PERFECT. Sure he put a lot of turrets around. Sure the grenede was annoying. But he didn't fucking 1 shot enemy who step close enough for granade to be impossible to miss!

The newer heimer after a fuckton of buffs is now basically the opposite if fun. You cannot lane vs him, you cannot cs, lanes get permanently pushed and he still has almost full mana all the freaking time. You try fight him and he just pokes 70% of your health away with a simple combo and potentially get finished by some r%%%%%ed support combo like AP shaco. Even ganking him on bottom lane, the lane he scales the slowest, he's still a fucking HUGE threat to kill with a jungle that isn't like level 11 and with 3 health items and for some reason Heimer never got half the CS to actually be threatening. It's fucking bullshit.

It's so fuckign unhealthy to the game I can't fuckign imagine the braindamage riot developers had to endure in order to develop such toxicity and leave it unnoticed.

Heims is a lane bully who smashes melee champs hard, but if he doesnt snowball heavily he gets outscaled by most other champs.

Heimerdinger and Illaoi are the two champions you should not gank because they are more dangerous with more people in there lane.

Well that's why you don't play an assassin vs donger. I've always like lux for that matchup, really anyone with raw range.

He is not THE most toxic but he is one of them.

Its that his Turrets attack SOO fast and INSTANTLY attack when you get in range.

Play Nunu or Yi against him. They can both Q his turrets.
