The key to climbing out of low Elo isn't mechanics or making insane plays.

Its your mentality.

Lets face it:

  • Your mechanics probably aren't great
  • You probably don't have enough game knowledge to coordinate perfect team fights/roams
  • You probably can't grasp the concept of pressure like Trick2g can

For a lot of people in low Elo, ranked ends up becoming a psychological thing. Many people could climb much higher if they persuaded their teammates that what they are doing is right. Here are some things you should try out in your next few games:

  • Compliment anyone with a skin and tell them 'Hey, cool skin!'
  • If someone picks up a kill "Dude, that play was amazing!"
  • Someone makes a good play or steals drag/baron "{Insert champion name} Is the true mvp"
  • Someone makes a cool play "How are you only in {Insert low ranking} 0_0"

Its amazing how this kind of chat can encourage and change the playstyle of your teammates. Its honestly funny to watch how complimenting someone's skin makes them so much more confident in themselves. Try it out in your next game and let me know how it goes.

Sounds like a Trick2g brown-nosing post here [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Lets face it, he has excellent pressure tactics and despite all his videos people in low elo aren't going to grasp it in 20 games.

I can't disagree about that, but at the same time players can learn a lot by watching Trick2G if they can tolerate him. That said, I think the OP has an interesting point - being positive can have a significant impact on your teammates and focusing on being positive is a great way to keep you from being negative. That said, I once played a game with a Veigar who was so super positive it was disgusting and I would hope never to be matched with him again because I had never felt so strongly like being toxic to someone ever before.

There are just better people to watch, like PhyLoL and Foxdrop- they tell everyone how to be the best they can be without the hate for new players. Trick going "LOL HE SHOULD UNINSTALL THIS GAME" when someone made a dumb mistake that EVERYONE at my elo makes is just annoying to watch.
