How did Mordekaiser avoid nerfs last patch?

Just how? Best toplaner stats wise since Conqueror was reworked and nothing has been done about him yet.

He wins literally every melee matchup and also some ranged matchups, all he has to do is manage to activate his passive and stand around you for free healing and damage.

Getting ulted is also sure death because unless he’s 0/5 (which doesn’t happen really often tbh) you cannot 1v1 him at all.

Why was he left untouched? He was in the top 3 of champs in need of a nerf and somehow he wasn’t even mentioned in patch notes. Good thing he’s basically permabanned when not first picked.

Because he's immobile, and because most of his abilities can be dodged (except hit ult). I consider him to be a healthy champ. Maybe he's a bit overtuned right now, but there's nothing really inherently toxic about his kit.

Definitely in needs of nerfs, been struggling against him even with Darius which I consider to be a counter to Mordekaiser. Champ defiantly synergizes way too well with conqueror

First off, Mord is SUPPOSED to be strong. He is an immobile melee champion. His e and Q aren't hard to dodge, either (but I play Aatrox a lot these days, so, that may be why I say that)

Shit, I just picked up Xerath, and still burst down a fed Morde. It was HALARIOUS, too.

But, I have well over 1.1 million on Morde, so I know how he works and how to outplay him ez.

While I will say he is strong right now, it's only due to conqueror. Trust me, I've been abusing it. So, in the runes, you whole ass take just pure healing. Taste of blood and all that. Triumph, Alacrity, Last Stand... So when your passive is up, you heal for that damage you deal each second.

Honestly, if you wanna nerf Conq and Mord together without gutting Mord or gutting Conq for other users, just reduce healing on DoT and AoE. That's IT. Mord's already gotten 9 nerfs, and was next to useless until Conq got changed.

While I agree he should have been nerfed you definitely over stated his power. There are a few melee matchups he loses (looking at you, Darius), and his ult while powerful, can be dealt with. QSS kills it off, but if you're stuck without it some well timed dodges let you get out alive (though I guess you're still out of the fight, so you didn't really win...)

Nobody is saying he's not impossible to beat but he simply has too much man. He is immobile but he has a pull and always builds the hextech dash to overcome that not to mention his ult unless you pay a qss tax or are one of few specific champions, but anyone else is pretty much going to lose lane simply because of the matchup problems he poses.

Haven't you heard? They dont give a fuck about toplane. Look at the intial post of preseason, and go to the "toplane influence" section. All they do is pretty much laugh at us and give us pointless changes because they made other changes that then nullified the changes they gave us.
