As A Support Tank, Your Job is to Protect Your Laner

NOT go roam mid for 15 minutes then come back wondering why the enemy bot laners have 5 kills on your adc. Your job as a tank is to protect your team, specifically your squishies. That includes ADC and mid mages. Again. That means to PROTECT YOUR LANERS.

If you are blitz, a pull of a carry to our team if theyre fed is a bad idea. A pull of their fed carry away from your carry is much better. That is always an option. You can peel. Regardless of what your position is.

If you are thresh/any other tank, don't be afraid to innitiate. You can easily get inbetween the damage and your carry. You can also prevent most projectiles from hitting your carry. If your carry dies, and you arent trying to keep them from dying, it is your fault.

Before you say anything, I am a support main. I just got out of my final ranked placement (i normally request support then fill) and happened to get ADC. My blitz did absolutely nothing all game to defend me or anything. He landed maybe 2 pulls in lane and didnt try many other times.

i go tank supp if i feel like going tank and i roam and i get my mid and top laner fed and the adc should not die if i ping that im roaming not just go there

If you are in lane with your adc, would you stand behind your adc? Would you use no abilities to get them to safety?

Depends on the supp j4 I can both engage and disengage and counter engage . counter meaning you engage them when they engage . taric I sit behind the adc and save my stun for peeling .Leo is meant for engage .sej I play more like taric meaning I'll follow tithe adc up

Roaming? It depends on how well the ADC can handle a 1v2 and survive from that. If it's against something like a Draaaven/Lulu or Leona/Graves then roaming is the worst fucking idea ever; they will 1v2 maul your ADC to death. So you're not wrong on that.

Pulling away from the squishies? Or as a squishy yourself you don't have to stand next to Blitz.

Pulling away from squishies. Say to pull someone over a wall so your carry can get under tower safely.

I hate playing tank supports cause if I get a bad ADC I can't do anything. That's when I start roaming and leave you to feed - why drag me down with you?

No one said support has to protect the adc. I've left adcs alone, and went mid to spam a bunch of heal on terrible zeds who kept getting wrecked by teemos, our corki had a level advantage on bot lane.

That's what the lcs does, isn't it?

Im saying that your job is to help peel for your adc. You can't just sit under tower and not use any spells when your carry is trying to farm.
