Her ball is controlling an area. Guess thats the easiest way of explaining
She is a mid range AP duelist that transitions into an AOE burst mage/support. If I had to quantify it, I'd say she's... 60% damage 20% utility 20% control
Of course, any mage can "assassinate" a squishy with their full rotation once they have 600 ap and a Void Staff.
She is a control mage that specializes in creating zones that are extremely dangerous to enemies that walk in them.
Example: In lane, she can place the ball behind the caster minions so that if the enemy laner walks up to cs, she has a short distance to Q>W. Example 2: Her team is taking baron. She places the ball over the baron wall towards the red brush to prevent the jungler from standing there to try for a steal.
