I main sion, how is this fair?
I dont want any nerfs but why can i do this much damage vs other champions with one damage item (titanic)

Surviving is an underrated dps stat. Sure Zed jumps in and puts out the burst damage, but it is still hard to compare to someone who is always on the front lines punching enemies in the face because he is tanky enough to shrug off a lot of the enemies attacks. Of course that Sion isn't putting out Zed levels of burst but Zed had to shadow shift out like the wuss he is and Sion is still there hurting people by yelling at them or something.
So it is pretty much just damage uptime as compared to damage burst. Zed has a ton of burst but no uptime, Sion has a ton of uptime but no burst. And in some cases these may equal out.
Also cleaving attacks are great for padding damage numbers, they are useful don't get me wrong but a focused assassin like Zed is likely putting that damage to better use on priority targets.
He did twice the dmg of others on his team, you are underestimating the dmg he was doing if you think it wasnt impactful.
Sion does have burst dmg. Its just practically useless most of the time because he doesnt have the mobility. His q stun does like 300 and the active on titanic does about 400, then his shield does about 200. That's plenty of burst dmg. But the fact that sion has to walk in makes up for all of that.
While i dont think you really acknowledge the relevant dmg sion did in this game, compared with a tank like nautilus sion is UP.. hes telegraphed, slow, inaccurate (basically everything you expect and want from a tank), but has weaker cc in general than nautilus.
Nautilus has point and click cc, his q range is stupid high and pretty easy to hit, hes mobile and of course he does a fuck ton of burst dmg. Cause why offer a trade off for mobility, right? He also feels tankier to me.

Actually my Q damage without charging is around 250 max rank and goes up to around 600-700 later
yea. sion can burst a squishy down. the number i gave is the one i figured you get when you only charge it till u get the knock up and stun, which is where u usually want to let it go anyway. Sion does a ton of dmg, hes just not mobile and you dont typically think of him as that unfair tank that does too much dmg. And thats because u know its your fault when he unloads on you.
Take naut on the other hand, if he unloads on your face youre pissed cause that hook is too fast and long and his ult is point and click impossible to qss..

Ive been banning naut every game since... 5 months ago?
He isn't the only one who can.
Zac, Amumu, Rammus, Volibear, all do a shit ton of damage.
I went full tank Aurelion earlier and put out the most damage.
I'm thinking one of the reasons Sion does a lot of damage on his team is cause he has lots of AOE's to put out more damage.

I really think sion is like really strong atm... Idk why people dont play him at all but i picked him up and have over 60% winrate and 3.3 KDA with him.
Sion is hidden OP at the moment. Not a popular pick so he goes under the radar so far. But holy hell the damage he provides and INSANE sustain. They'll notice him soon enough.
you would never pick him over an un-nerfed nautilus, i think.
If you don't factor in player preference...
Damage done is a misleading Stat sometimes. Some champs are off split pushing instead of fighting. And aren't doing any damage because they aren't involves. Sometimes your carries are getting lit up while you walk around dping damage until the end as the tank.
When you play with people who know how to peel for a talented adc who is actually around for team fights you won't touch their damage. Also sion harasses a lot in lane.
I mean you can do small over time damage which people don't die from and then heal up and take more damage....but it doesn't matter.
Damage doesn't matter. Objectives matter. If a Tryndamere does 5k damage to champions but takes an inhibitor and ends up winning the game does that mean he is weak? It's all about context. I've played tanky champs and done the most damage because no one is peaking or carries aren't positioning and are playing poorly. That doesn't make my tank champ OP. Because I've also had games where good adc and apcs demolition everyone in damage even when I played well.
That said I love Sion. He is strong right now but has his weaknesses and can be outplayed. Also if people are dumb enough to get hit by his passive he does big damage with titanic.

Yep here in bronze i can get double majority of time i die.
Just your simple AOE you have with sion is why
End of game damage really doesn't matter a whole lot. What matters is how much you do to particular champions.
AoE damage that is always in the middle of multiple enemies will always give large numbers in the post game, even if the amount of damage dealt to each enemy is low. Sion has a lot of great AoE damage.
Think of it this way; if someone jumps into the enemy team and does 600 damage to an enemy they have done 600 damage, where as if someone jumps in and uses a 200 damage AoE they can do anywhere from 200 damage to 1000 damage. Well placed AoE damage really adds up in the post game, even if the per champion damage amount isn't anything to write home about.
im pretty sure sion isnt overpowered. the aoe dps you do is less impactful than some otehr kinds of dmg.
Pretty sure that's a bug similar to Yorick's ult: The damage you deal to yourself when you are in your passive mode counts towards damage dealt.
