hey folks, decided this season I'm picking up mid lane again and fell in love with 
after playing in the last urf with her. I'm really looking for some good builds after all the new changes with masteries and runes and seeing what items I should be rushing/building in general.

I often find myself rushing Liandry's on her now because she can apply the double burn so easily
Position yourself in the minion wave so that you can abuse your Q the most. Lissandra's Ice Shards hit hard and fast and really punish melee champs
Combine your Q and E in lane the Q slows so that your E is guaranteed to hit them then follow up by blinking behind them and locking them down
You are relatively safe in lane if you ward properly as your E covers a lot of distance and will more than likely deposit you close enough to your tower to be safe
Use your tower to your advantage - Lissandra packs so much cc that even thought towers are pretty shit you can lock up a cocky diver long enough to get a kill with the turrets help
Push your lane in hard then roam. Travelling through the jungle let's you circumnavigate scuttler and bushes that might be warded. E into the wall just above the blast cone plant if you e more than halfway into terrain you'll automatically hop out the other side which makes her roaming so deadly. Your cc combined with an allied laner will normally result in a kill.
Your W is an instant aoe cc which is very powerful combined with flash and guarantees hit skill shots look for flash w engages in lane as it can save you having to engage with your e and means you can use it later for damage or to follow after they flash away
In teamfights you have one of two roles depending on how fed you are you are either the carry or the cc bot either way your job is to get in cc 3 or more people and live through the resulting carnage
I love Lissandra she is my go to champ if I'm tilted and need to go into Hard Carry Mode
Step 1. let it go~
Drop RoA entirely once you've got a hang of good mana management. Protobelt rush(or even Morello if you're feeling ballsy) gives you amazing powerspikes, allowing you to come online pretty quickly in a match. My preferred build is Protobelt>Sorc Boots>Hourglass>Banshee's>Void Staff>Liandries. It's not AP heavy but it works as a great generalist build.
For runes I run Sorc/Dom primarily however sometimes I'll go with Sorc/Inspi for Stopwatch against assassin lanes. My normal set up is Comet>Ultimate Hat>Transcendence>Scorch with Cheap Shot>Ravenous Hunter. If I'm using Inspiration then those last two get changed to Stopwatch>Biscuit/Cosmic Insight.
Something you can also try(and that I've also been meaning to experiment with) is a hilarious CC Bot build with GLP+Glacial Augment core, to completely ruin a team fight for the enemy team.

play her like a high damage tank. dont go full AP with her. if you have an assassin mid who does physical that's your best time to play lissandra. anyone who builds liandrys torment is going to mess you up if you try to play lissandra to her full potential as a fighter mage. you could also build her as a movement speed poker.
her abilities make her a strong team player, but she's a battle mage (i think is what they call her). and so her kit for the most part is about getting in and locking down weaker opponents like a fighter would.
bind the self-ult cast to the keyboard T. that way if you want to ult yourself, just press T, no more self ulting at 100% hp lol
W cooldown is reduced depending on how many units it hits.

I usually play Lissandra (main) with 
in this order. The rest is situational, though I do like to use 
as third or 4th item. I havent played lissandra much since the new runes came out since I was busy trying out other champions with this new update. I do suggest, however, that you try Comet, The Ultimate Hat, Transcendence, and Scortch. The sub tree is inspiration with biscuit and cosmic insight. I do want to try out the domination tree at some point: Electrocute, Sudden Impact, Eyeball C./Poro Ward, Ravenous hunter with the sub tree being Sorcery: The ultimate hat and transcendence.
The only reason that I would suggest coment over Aery is due to Aery being nerfed a bit.
