can someone clarify this for me. I was bored and was reading some of the lore for champions and noticed that

rival and vice versa for no apparent reason...can anyone fill in the gap that I seem to be missing? or is this just one of those lore gaps that Riot hasnt addressed yet?

Well... that is actually a joke about the "Riot Wars" on the old forum. Zileas, member of Riot said that the armored bears were a lame concept... in other hand Volibar, another member of Riot, said that he supported the "Armored Bear Movement"... so, that started a "war" in the forums...

Gods... the Riot Wars... good old times... Even that "conflict" has more lore than the game right now...
(Iron Solari Leona is also a Reference to that "conflict")
zill has a quote " in my day we would never let a armored bear into the leauge" also in game if there on oposing teams they gain extra gold on kill or assit on the other.
This was started by Zileas the rioter who was complaining about letting an armored bear into the league.
The big question is if they are planning to add a connection within the lore that explains this rivalry. I mean the official site already listed the connections of hte shurima champs among each other before the shurima event was released.
Basically Zilean is racist.
