I really wish every reworks and new champs didnt feel like "lets shove as many gimmicks as possible"

It really bothers me when it feels like every rework or new release of a champ has a special "|hidden move" that just generally outclasses the fuck out of other champions that are older or arent reworked or plan on being reworked. its very frustrating Some examples Akali; need i even say more.. on fucking release she could dive turrets for free with 0 turret aggro Irelia: she was also extremely gimmicky although they have toned her down quite a bit. Pantheon: still kept that point click cc and instead of blocking an auto he blocks everything (i believe on release he even blocked turret hits which should not be a thing) Kaisa: the holy matron of "sorry every other adc cant compete with me because i have self peel, invisibility, automatic click missiles, and can build in literally any way possible. zoe: really fucking self explanatory even though she isnt super new anymore, my god the gimmick mechanics on that champ is unreal. Like its just exhausting

The alternative is the community calling new/reworked champions clones though.

Like Jhin’s release, people were saying his W was Jinx’s Zap clone, his E were Cait’s trap clones and his R was Xerath R clone. If Riot doesn’t innovate with their releases, kids on here bitch about how stale the new champ is.

It's funny because I was just playing Elise and thinking the same thing.

Almost all of her abilities are 1 or 2 lines, except for her R, which makes sense because it has to explain all the stat changes during the transformation.

What happened to simplicity?
