Champions to play in mid to climb from low Silver to low Gold?

Please help. I don't want to be Bronze.

Edit: I know that one-tricking is also a viable strategy, but I'm looking for options before I try it.

Your play style has a lot to do with it.

if you're aggressive and like to end games fast : Leblanc Talon

if you like to poke/ control the pace of fights/siege Lux Ziggs

if you want a safe champion that is hard to die on Malzahar Swain Galio

All these champs will murder that elo range, you just have to play them accordingly.

Whoever you are best at... if you keep playing your best champs then hopefully you play without dying and feeding which is one of the only things really important about winning low elo games. The team that feeds less usually wins by a landslide.

TLDR dont die play your champs you are good with.

Some good midlaners are Malz (for safe gameplay and a good amount of CC/peel), Brand (For the burst damage he brings and his ridiculous teamfight potential), and Ziggs (Can help team fights without being right there, amazing push potential, and great poke).
