Why is Jinx' base range higher than Koggy's?

Jinx gets her range boost on demand while Koggy's is linked to a hefty cooldown.

When Jinx' range is deactivated she gets a massive stacking IAS steroid for auto-attacking things.

When Koggy's range is deactivated he gets a free proc of his passive for auto-attacking things.

Why does Quinn get a metric ton of burst, but Ashe doesn't?

See how stupid that sounds? That's what you just said.

different champions, different kits, different everything. Her "massive" AS steroid means she loses her range and she needs to 'ramp up' before getting the full benefit while Kog has it permanently at all times. Also i didn't knew that Jinx could deal 6% of the targets max health per auto as magic damage nor i did not know Jinx had a constant long range poke.

Once again, different champions, different kits

Also Jinx uses mana for her range, one of the reason why she can be mana hungry. Kog, on the other hand, can be pretty mana hungry if spam his ults, but he pretty much doesn't have to worry about mana while just using the slowing roll.

And that mainly comes from when he's played AP

Kog'maw doesn't suffer a massive attack speed penalty for using his range and he has passive bonus attack speed on his Q (in addition to percent health damage and percentage armor/MR reduction).

The Kog'maw and Jinx have an entirely different function and playstyle; comparing a single aspect of their kit in isolation is pointless.

To start off: we need to admit that Jinx is indeed overbearing.

However. Jinx's attack speed sucks when she's using rockets. If she can't keep Kog'Maw the hundred-something units away from her, she'd lose a duel. If she can, she's just going to eat a few living artillery while Kog'Maw runs away to his team.

While Jinx can blow up an enemy team, her damage per enemy is fairly standard. Kog'Maw tears through whoever is in front (not directly in front) of him thanks to %health damamge and resistance shredding.
