Hey guys ,im new t o lol ,i often see yasuo dominating games ,hes picked almost every game,however i rarely eveerrr see an azir.I dont think ive ever played against an azir ever and i main mid ( im only level 27) i bought him on the sale and he was really fun to play and i was winning games with him but now he seams useless.
Anyway can someone explain to me why these nerfs happened
Lysdexic14 votesWell Yasuo has already seen extensive nerfing since his release. He is nothing compared to what he was in his prime. But the Azir nerfs were just a slight tweak because at high tier play, Azir could do pretty much everything. He can poke, he can make heavy engages for his team, he can seige, he can anti-seige, he can assassinate and he can be an alternate adc if yours falls behind, all while being incredibly safe. This was just a way to shave a little bit of extra power off of an already strong champion.

Masked Lunatic1 votesAzir could pretty much poke from a safe distance and that means he is reliably able to do his job. Whereas in comparison yasuo has to be in a fight to deal most of his damage (3rd q is an exception).
HEAljvLykd1 votesRemember they base the opness of a champion based on pro play. Yasuo is meh at the pro level while azir was wrecking everyone.

Though Yasuo is extremely annoying, he didn't have the capabilities to murder everyone and everything. Azir did.
Note: Devourer Jungle Azir is a god if you get past horrible early game
Lord Azır1 votesThe nerfs happened because he's incredibly good if you have good synergy with your team (like in pro teams). Even in high elo Azir had a below 50% win rate, this was because they can't use him to the extent they can in pro play where they know exactly what targets everyone's going for and exactly who to zone out with soldiers and exactly where to place them to benefit the team. He's also extremely good at sieging, as is Tristana. That's why they are constantly spammed in pro play, yet don't do that great in solo queue.

Ahh, you're level 27. That explains it. See, at your ranking Yasuo is only played by diamond smurfs who make low rank accounts to get fed out of their mind.
