I'd really like to see more %CDR diversity in items.

The reason being that if you try to max cdr, chances are you're going to be buying over the cap and thus feel like you're wasting stats. As it stands, the only item to provide cdr that isn't a multiple of 10 is Ionian Boots of Lucidity at 15% CDR. Every other CDR item has 10% or 20% CDR. Given that masteries provide 5% or 10% cdr (AP champions, 9/0/21 route), I feel it would be a good idea to put in more 15% CDR options or even some 5% CDR options.

Example: a 21/0/9 AP champion wants max CDR and has 5% in the beginning due to masteries. They buy morellonomicon (25%) and DFG (35%) and still have room for 1 more item to max out. Issue is, anymore CDR would be at least half wasted due to the awkward values in items.

Riot, in their usual thinking that there is a one-size-fits-all solution to all their problems, thought a while back that it would be a good idea to put cdr on fucking everything, so as a result there is a massive risk of wasted stats on most items.

No reason, you can get work it out to having max CDR with 10% from runes/Masteries, a 20% item, and blue buff. Odds are, if you're spamming enough to require 40% CDR, you likely will have access to your blue buff. ;)

I don't really see this as that big of a deal. Most champions are either fine with 35% CDR or don't mind making a bunch of the CDR items and don't care that much that they have a total of 45%. Although if that really bothers you, you could just get the other 5% from different masteries or from different runes.

They could definitely improve the situation, but it isn't one that needs priority.

It would be nice to see some 5% CDR items floating around.

Maybe even a CDR cap rework so it's a soft cap?
