Potential Yasuo and Yi rework

So i heard that yasuo and yi may be seeing a rework in the future and i just want to share my thought. In my opinion i dont mind this champion getting mostly because they are a feast or fuming champion.

Problems

Yasuo : The thing with yasuo is that if you master him he can be really broken. You mostly need 2 damage item and his wind wall kind of screw alot of champion over because of its mechanic. Honestly it is easy to deal with a yasuo well if you know what your doing.

MasterYi : Yi to me is simple has you can get once he get his items he is ready to go. He is either ahead are behind.

Solutions

Yasuo:

  • His passive may need to be change. Example for a new passive: everytime yasuo damage a target he build crit chance by 2%/4%/6% after 5 sec out of combat it will decay.

  • His Wind Wall the simple fix is add a damage thresh hold meter say after taking a certain amount of damage it will disperse.

MasterYi

  • He need to be updated like ashe just to spice him up. the only thing i could think of changing is his E i would make it a sweep attack that damage enemy infront of him and if his passive is active it would double hit. This would help with his wave clear in the new jungle

Also the community is made up of a lot of salty and low elo players. The low elo players just won't under stand how good, fun and counterable he is. The salty people just need to stop.

I think this is exactly the issue - the vast majority of the community IS low elo, so surely he should be designed in a way that does not impact all the low elo players as harshly? It's not a case of "just get better and learn how to counter him", it really just isn't that easy unless you have spent a huge amount of time trying. The game needs to be fun, not homework on how to counter one poorly designed champion.

The only reason why you feel as though he is broken is due to the fact the you have yet to gain a motivation to figure out how to beat him. My advice to you is that if you wish to see him not broken anymore simply practice countering him. For instance when you know his windwall is up don't use a spell that needs to hit to kill him until it isnt up anymore. Also in low elo, players who use Yasuo tend to just spam his windwall without actively thinking about it so it's relatively easy to actually counter his windwall. And honestly he isn't "poorly designed," infact in my oppinion, he is on the same level of intelligent designing like Azir, Ahri, Taliyah, Draven, and a lot of other incredibly well-designed champions. Of course when you feel like this game is something that you ACTUALLY want to get better at you'd be capable of appreciating his design concepts and honestly those who do appreciate the game for what it is lore-wise and game-wise, we'd honestly quite hate the fact that they reworked one of the best-designed champions in the game. To be honest, if you don't want to take time into your life to get better at this game, please don't speak to the designers about changing something so dramatically just because you're a little salty of the fact that people will actually outplay you because they've practiced the game when you haven't. This literally just sounds like a spoiled little child whining about the fact that he has to put effort into something to get better to be completely honest, and that's basically what the entire Yasuo's rework argument is really about. Giving spoiled little children who don't want to invest time into getting better at something they like to do like a grown adult would do. If this retains anything to you, then don't go around asking grown adults to do so much work when you wouldn't wanna do it yourself. P.S. No hard feelings tho mate <3

I'm sorry but I think Yasuo needs to be reworked. I understand that at higher levels he doesn't feel like he has an advantage but at lower levels he is impossible to play against unless you have a champ that directly counters him. The point is - he is not fun to play against. You have to jump through so many hoops to be able to lane against him, and even if you do beat him in lane - at level 6 he can literally dash up to you and hurricane + ulti and that will take most midlaners down to practically zero health. He feels broken to play against - I was only silver last season but out of every matchup he is the ONLY champion that I feel is broken and horrible to play against.

Please do something about him Riot, he is currently a high risk / high reward champion that feels like the reward massively outweighs the risk - fair enough if plat + people don't have a problem, but he makes the game extremely unfun for anyone in lower elos - which is the majority of league players.

I play with 4 of my friends, all of which can not stand to play against him. Please can you just do something to make him more bearable to lower skill players so that I don't hate every game that I play against him? That would be nice.

Yasuo just flat out doesn't need it. If u master him and put in the time to becoming really good, you should be rewarded with a load of wins. Besides, all those good plays we have seen come from him are just too good to not see them again.

Aavarce2 votes

you could say anyone is op if you mastered it. some are only op if youve mastered them, like zed.

high skill champs are op as part of the high risk, high reward mentality. Draven Draven requires a ton of micro managing, but he has great damage when you can keep up the double axe.Azir Azir requires good positioning on his soldiers, but if you can nail it, hes a top lcs pick.Ryze Ryze has long intricate combos, but lots of damage for keeping the combo train going.

the game isnt about being a one trick yasuo main its about 1. having fun 2. versatility with strategy and 3. teamwork not the next tyler1 one trick yasuo just because you "master" one champ doesnt mean you should just start winning left and right it means move on and start branching out to create versatility so you dont get cucked when they ban your mastered yasuo. yasuo does need a rework his wall is completely toxic it covers a whole damn lane and stays for 3 seconds mfs ult lasts 3 seconds and theres no way to drop the wall besides waiting so youre saying because i can press w even on accident that the other teams adc should be completely useless for 3 seconds because i spent alot of time playing him. and his ult takes literally no skill to use. malph ults i misclick press r oh look i landed ult ez. his difficulty threshold does not match his play level. i do believe he needs to be reworked that double crit is bogus for early a statikk and you take half my hp even if ur feeding is ridiculous once they rework him maybe then he will take more skill than mashing e pressing q a couple times and spamming mastery. rant over

i think u can nerf his passtive instead of changing it, or just nerf all of his cd and shit. his W could be changed into holding the enemy's ablity in mid air for 2 seconds, for example, Jinx's ulti would be held for 2 seconds and then shoots it out again.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT FUCK YASUO UP, I LOVE HIM WAY TOO MUCH.

when will the rework be off yasuo Yasuo

Dude!!! As an aspiring Yasuo main, I have to say, I LOVE the idea for his crit chance. It makes it so you have to really get in there and work for your kills. Props.

I don't play yasuo but I don't like the idea too much it takes away from his get in get out play style in lane, and I hate this champ but I would still like to see him as a healthy champ not a poop one, also I hate this champ lol

Let me quote you my good Sir "The thing with Yasuo is that if you master him he can be really broken." Are you for real ?! League should be a game about skills and outplays If those yasuo players out there become masters of that champ it means they spend so much time on them and the potential outplay exist with that chmpion. Not everyone me included can be a master yasuo player, but that is the only champ that needs smart decitions or otherwise you diee. Its not like tryndamare who deals like more dm than Yasuo with his crit and has a ulti that he refuses to die. With Yasuo u fuckk you are very dead my friend. 300 other broken things with season Rito does a Yasuo Rework .. oh Riot why have u forsaken me, Cant u see how unbalanced the game is right now with the damn tank meta and the new mastery, literally with Shaco u can never do shit against Renekton lets say. This might be the season I finally quit league as most of my friends who are sick and tired of retarded changes.

All I can see is low elo players complaining about yasuo OMG its proven look he is OP !!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EftZb14H9xo

As much I love Yasuo I believe that he should still be able to build 2 crit items instead of 3 for any plans to Rework Yasuo . I love the fact that Yasuo has a 20% extra crit but people argue to much about it and say it should be lowed to 10% but the only down side is that you can have items like: item 3031 item 3046 item 3087 and then get 100% crit chance. his kit is what makes Yasuo so unique his windwall opens doors to make an outplay.

That would make him more like a Tryndamere. what people from lower elo dont understand is that Yasuo has no escape when ganked and he can also still be out played in a 1v1 depending on the player.

PLEASE dont give him a rework everything is amazing right now, unless you want to change his ult to do more base damage then pls dont change him. i have played him too long and i dont want a rework hes fine the way he is and its hard to get good with him. also theres barely any champs that cant kill him
