Tank Ekko is kinda just good at everything...

If I remember correctly, Riot wanted to make Ekko a "sustained damage assassin" or something along those lines.

So they gave him a bunch of utility AND high base damage AND good scaling.

So now, Ekko can go tank and just fuck up everyone with his high base damages.

I won't lie and say that Ekko doesn't fall off late game, but the problem is that in many cases he will be able to win before late game happens because of snowball minions and his kill potential/death timers.

Ekko also is very mobile, with 4 different forms of mobility from his passive, to BOTH procs of his e, to his ult.

This means that unless he's going 1v5 or is against another team that is hyper mobile and can survive long enough to the point of not only forcing Ekko to back, but also being able to catch up with him without dying to the rest of the team.

The biggest problem I find with tank Ekko is not the fact that he does a lot of damage while being tanky, there are PLENTY of tanks that do that (Garen Amumu Rammus Sejuani), but rather that none of the tanks are as mobile as Ekko.

Ekko's passive and e are both really good for both chasing AND kiting. Meaning that he get's the best of both worlds while you are wondering how the hell to coordinate your team to kill him.

Not to mention his e procs on hit effects, so that means that item 3025 is really good on him as he'll most likely be stacking armor anyways because he's tank ekko while also creating a giant slow field for the entire enemy team.

Perhaps I just need to vent about him but I really think that tank ekko is a champion that does too many things too well. At least Lee sin doesn't have an AOE stun that doubles as a shield and slow field :/
